Dagna's analysis on Miami-Boston (Heats-Celtics) game

Postby Dagna » 09 Jun 2012, 14:47

Game six was a bummer for Boston, they missed over ten three pointers that could have made a real difference. Had they scored half of those, the game would have ended badly for Miami. I am rooting for Miami, for the city has spent large amount of money on the account Lebron James and Chris Bosh would bring them more fans, hence more business. However, from a work ethics angle, Celtics deserve it more than anyone. Celtics have been consistent with their games throughout the year, they are team oriented and they play with less overconfidence and more humbleness, where everyone is cheap-in his level best.

If Celtics play game seven with a little bit more effort than they usually put in, just a little more than they did for game six, Bostonians will have a parade at the end of June. Its unfortunate, Celtics could have closed the deal on game six and secure the championship, but Heats burned off the euphoria for Celtics. It seems both teams were fully cognizant of the significance of game six, for Boston it was a championship that has been eluding them for so long and for Miami it was a game defining survival of the fittest, it was man turning to beast and they pulled it off.

Well, Celtics have another chance to close the door on Miami's coming parade, but Heats have just as much chance with home court advantage to rain on Boston's wishful parade. This is essentially a game for the 2011/2012 championship. The winner of this game will walk over Thunders to put their mark on NBA history. So, they are fighting their last battle if you will. This is it, this is the game of the year by all measures, for those that understand the game of basketball this game wraps up the year.

wow slow down pls. the heat will beat the old celtics team tonight but will lose the championship game against the thunder. the celtics are way overrated if you ask me; the sixers were on the verge of eliminating them. the celtics are done. go thunders

lets talk about euro 2012. who will win it?

I respect your opinion, but I disagree. Thunders are not even counted as the best team of the league, they did well the whole year, but not as well as Spurs. San Antonio should have won the series, but luck would have it otherwise. There are many variables that can be broken down and digested as to why they lost to the Thunders, a team that is on the rise but not made a name for itself yet. Under no circumstances am I taking the hard work of players like Durant, but we have to tell the truth, if they maintain the same level of dedication they will take the 2012/2013 championship, for now they have to be aware they are matching against a hungry team.

As for your assumption on Celtics, you need to go back and start looking at their record, not only this year, but also multiple years. Celtics are a great team, they are very powerful in team coordination and individual talents. You are talking about a team that is so powerful it has made history several times. So, have some respect for Celtics. Should they somehow win tonight, they will take the championship with most certainty. However, the other team knows this is their time to shine, and they not only shine tonight, but will radiate turning the natural night to artificial day. Tonight being a Saturday, Miami's clubs will blast their speakers so loud people with hearing sensitivity need to find a tranquil motel.

Miami will celebrate tonight in style. Already, Miamians are known for their lax nature, they will add a bit more tonight. Their first game will be on Teusday against Oklahoma (a new comer) and they will show them how to dance in court while playing.
