በኒውዮርክ የተሰበሰቡትን የኤርትራ ተወላጆች ቁጥር የሚያህል ኢትዮጵያውያን ተሰብስበው ከጠቅላይ ሚኒስትሩ ጋር መወያየት የሚችሉ ቢሆን እንዴት ያኮራኝ ነበር፤ በበኩሌ ባንስማማም እንነጋገር እያልሁ ስጮህ ብዙ ጊዜ ሆነኝ፤ ክርር ምርር ብሎ ከዚህ ፍንክች አልልም፤ ለአጭሩም፣ ለረጅሙም፣ ለወፍራሙም፣ ለቀጭኑም፣ ለክርስቲያኑም ለእስላሙም፣ ለሁላችሁም የሚበጀውን እኔ አውቃለሁ ማለቱ አያቀራርበንም፤ መናናቅ አያቀራርበንም፤ መፈራራት አያቀራርበንም፤ አበበ ገላው የተናገረው እውነት መሆኑንና አለመሆኑን ወደጎን እንተወውና በኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ እነዚያኑ ቃላት፣ በዚያው የጋለ ስሜት ያለፍርሃት በልበ ሙሉነት መግለጽ የሚቻል ቢሆን የአሜሪካው ድራማ አያስፈልግም ነበር፤ ዋጋም የሚሰጠው አይሆንም ነበር፤ በአሜሪካ በድንገትና ዓለም ሁሉ በሚያይበት መድረክ ስለ መለስ ዜናዊ የተባለው ሁሉ በኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ ተዝናንቶና ኮርቶ ሊያዳምጥ የሚችልበትን መድረክ በሃያ ዓመታት ውስጥ ሳያዘጋጅ መቅረቱ አንገቱን ለማስደፋቱ አስተዋጽኦ አድርጓል።
