welcome back but from the above sentence, you looked very afraid that someone will lash you out for your newly found love for the mercenary banda weyannes and its cronies. fes yalebet rucha aychelim endilu, you knew you are going to be disputed and lashed 40 times just like the thieves recieve in the islamic world. let me tell you this. people like you can easily sell your soul for cheap dollars. as long as you recieved some left over, you call that a day. but the minute weyanne stoppes that pipe-line you sip their left over, you cry wolf. a case example is wzro belaynesh who was an ardent supporter of weyanne till her construction machine couldn't start business rusting by days eating all her life time saving.

I have been to ethiopia very recently and ofcourse it is a heaven for those who want to lust, show-off and party. those who thought they could make it there will end up returning after a year or so. The reality there is that you need the connection and the blessing of one qimalam to succeed. for many ethiopian diaspora, this is unacceptable. you should have every right in your country and turf. i have extended families who are fresh graduates and unless they join one the teletafi organizations(Servant organizations of TPLF which they call it EPRDF to cover), there is no job. if ethiopia is getting prosperous, there is no need to force the youth to join those ashker organizations. the same goes in the business world.

we will give you 2 years if you stand by your words

Jason...... I think the term, "there is no shame in [deleted] Game " was coined by non other than your self...Hence what triggered you to change 360 degreee....And the fact you are insulting the same diaspora folk on which you cheered together with, as merely taxi drivers is another blunder of your self....... Any way, there are many questions which i can raise to put you in the spot but lets skip the interogation for now and to put you on notice that, i hope 2 years from now, you will not change your stance.

peacee

Jason wrote:Hello All,

I just got back from Ethiopia a few days ago and i promised few months back to blog from there. A few month back i was managed to elude the censorship by using proxy but after few days later i couldn't get to the proxy sites to blog ER.

Here is my honest opinion and i will discuss in detail over the next few days if you guys are interested. 8)

Investment: When i went to Ethiopia few years back, my views were shaped by politics so i was disinterested in listening my relatives brag about the huge growth they saw in terms of their own wealth and the country transformation. At first i was dismissive of their opinions because i honestly believe at the time seeing brand new buildings doesn't mean Ethiopians are doing better rather i made a point of mentioning that the building are owned and operated by Woyannie. Today i partially feel the same way. Sure most building i saw are owned by Woyannie folks but they are employing Ethiopian men and women and these folks will one day going to open their own company and compete with their former employer. In fact it's happening as we speak. There are many Ethiopians who worked for Woyannie affiliated companies in the past and went ahead and become successful business men and women.

The economic policy makers inside the government are doing tremendous job in terms of setting the right policy when it comes to investment. For instance, my good friend went back to Ethiopia to do commercial farming in southern Ethiopia. He tells me the government doesn't tax the produce for 5 years and the equipment he brought from abroad is duty free, The government also provides farming experts to commercial farmers free off charge. and many incentives to insure their success. This sort of things never been done in country history and we should give a credit to the government for setting the right policy.

I'm going to continue to blog about investment and education etc...I have to go for now. Please be civil about this topic. No name calling. 8)

You must use different glasses (tribally tinted) to see what is going on in Ethiopia; otherwise you would not post such kind of specious fiasco.

Jeson,

You should not have said anything to the blind people who have everyone of them have an agenda. Even Ethiopia becomes Europe they will not be happy because the agenda is the followings:
The Bandalanders have agenda to loot Ethiopia resources that is why they are her 24/7, the same people who killed every house hold of Amhara a brother or a father for the 30 years war for nothing. When we gave them what they asked they are not happy and they want Arosi and Kefa.

The other illusionary Ethiopians interest is Menelik Palace. They rather see every Ethiopian wiped out and have the Menelik Palace key than Ethiopia become industrial nation.

I oppose Meles and his wife but my opposition is not for power or party loyal or individuals but the people of Tigray and Ethiopia. If Meles does the right thing I will give him credit, if he does horrible things I should oppose his actions.

YEBANDA,

It's all a crap. Diaspora folks should leave the Ethiopian people alone and stick to what they do best. Drive a taxi.

You can move anywhere in Ethiopia and live you as you wish. No one is stopping folks from achieving their dream if they choose to do so. I must note though, that southern folks have no interest in moving up north. :D

Hi Jason,
Welcome on board! It is not too late. What surprises me is the fact that the vocal diaspora is complaining about lack of democracy and free speech at home, but now they don`t want to respect your right to support or oppose any party you want. For them, unless you oppose what they oppose, then automatically you will become their enemy. You guys wake up!If you truly believe in democracy, then you should respect Jason`s choice .

Question for Jason,

If my memory serves me right, back in 2005, soon after your woyane regime massacred 200 unarmed students in the streets of Addis Ababa as they were peacefully protesting the 2005 rigged election, you were quick to blame the killings on KINIJIT, who apparently had nothing to do with it.

Now my question to you is.... as you were strolling down the blood-stained streets of Addis Ababa during your recent trip to Ethiopia to redeem rewards earned through defending the indefensible genocidal regime, did you ever stop to think that the blood of the innocent students could haunt you forever, or that no amount of stolen land in Oromia or Gambella awarded to you illegally is worth living with the guilty conscience (Assuming you have a conscience, of course, but I highly doubt it.)
