Tinsae Ethiopia relaunches BEKA campaign in Ethiopia despite Shabia sabotage

Postby elias » 20 Jun 2012, 13:09

Beka is a slogan that calls for an end to the Woyanne rule in Ethiopia. Writing Beka slogan on walls is part of Tinsae Ethiopia’s civil resistance campaign that includes economic boycott, disabling Woyanne’s economic infrastructure, and helping create a transitional government to replace Woyanne. See photos here: http://tinsae.org/index/?p=15099

The arrest of of Tinsae Ethiopia's 2 senior leaders, Col Tadesse Muluneh and Col. Abebe Geresu, by Eritrean government is big setback, but the fledgling organization is regrouping and taking actions again. The two leaders were thrown in jail by Eritrean authorities just us Tinsae Ethiopia prepared to launch a civil resistance campaign in several cities in Ethiopia. I have lost any hope that the Eritrean gov't will play a positive role in helping bring change in Ethiopia. What the Eritrean gov't wants is puppet groups like TPDM that they can install in Arat Kilo -- the same way they brought TPLF to power, which turned out to be a disaster for them. Trying to install puppet groups like TPDM is already backfiring on the Eritrean regime. Currently, the level of resentment among Ethiopians toward the Eritrean gov't is back to where it was when Shabia and Woyanne were working together. This is because of the narrow-mindedness of the Eritrean leadership that resorted to a zero-sum game instead of working for a win-win situation for both Ethiopia and Eritrea. The arrest of Taddesse and Abebe, in particular, is unbelievably idiotic as it has absolutely no benefit for the Eritrean gov't, but the damage it has caused on the effort to forge a working relationship between Ethiopian opposition groups and Eritrean gov't is incalculable. The conventional Ethiopian thinking toward Shabia has turned out to be on the mark, and my theory that Shabia wants a genuine relation with Ethiopian opposition groups has been debunked by the actions of the Eritrean gov't itself. I came to this conclusion very reluctantly, and a recent nasty email exchange with a Shabia cadre in Washington DC named Amanuel Andeberhan tells it all. I will post that email exchange here in due time.

The only problem between shabia and Ethiopian opposition is the Asseb issue, if that is solved no need for Eritrea to install a puppet regime in Ethiopia.

Don't be stupid. It's not a matter of love and hate. It's a matter of advancing one's interests. What I attempted to do was to see if there is any way the Eritrean gov't and the Ethiopian opposition can collaborate in advancing their mutual interests, i.e., the removal of the Woyanne junta and bring peace to the region. By arresting two senior leaders of Tinsae Ethiopia, the Eritrean gov't has shown that it has no interest in establishing a mutually beneficial relationship with Ethiopians and demonstrated its contempt for genuine nationalist Ethiopians.

You have to understand Eritrean government is not interested in mutual interest, that's just lip service until they get power over you. Then you will be liquidated just like all our former liberation fighters G-15:

Petros Solomon
Mahmoud Ahmed Sherifo
Haile Woldense
Mesfin Hagos
Ogbe Abraha
Hamid Himid
Saleh Idris Kekya
Estifanos Seyoum
Berhane Ghebrezgabiher
Astier Fesehazion
Mohammed Berhan Blata
Germano Nati
Beraki Gebreselassie
Adhanom Ghebremariam
Mahamoud Ahmed

If you can't learn from this simple history lesson, i don't think you can move forward with revolution successfully. These people fought with HIGDEF/Isaias for more than 30 years and look what happened to them, What makes you think you can do any better your not even the same nationality as Isaias. Once a snake always a snake.

"Hulum Ye Rasu Wegen Siyasb Enyea Lemn Ye Rasea Hizb Alasbm"???

You do not expect to build a house for 17 years and will shelter your for 17 years, the house is expected to shelter for life and pass on to the childer of the owner of the house.

When the people who were in power 100 years working day and night to come back because power is good for them and for their ethnic, why should I give up the power I gained through the hard way fighting and dying for 17 years???

I never got anything from the people were in power for free or easily and whay should I expected to hand over so easily and cheapily for the same people gave me so hard time and made it so expensive to come to power???

Do they have any sense of normal thinking and logic to apply them same way others will think like them???

The Tigrayans slogan should be the followings:

Beka for the unity of Ethiopia

Beka one Ethiopia

Beka Amhara occupying Tigrayan lands Gonder and Lalibela

Beka Amharic teaching in Tigraina

Beka building Addis Ababa, Bahredar

Beka Tigrayans forced to buy Meles Bonds to build something does not mean anything to my mother.

Beka Tigrayan landscape to be nacked, needs green leafs

Beka Tigrayan rivers to waste preciouse water, should be saved

Beka Tigray to be called Tigray Killil, should be "ABYSINIA" capital city "TIGRAINA"

Beka Tigrayans migrating across "ALOWUHA RIVER"

Beka Tigrayan educated residing in Addis Ababa, Tigrayan intellectuals for Abysinia.

Beka one family monopoly in Tigray, Abysinia should be for all Tigrayans.

Beka Meles wishy-washy making decisions, take the firm and lasting decisions for the fate of Abysinia.
