Are you that naive, or are you playing naive. In Eritrea there is only one voice, this col. Fitsum can not do anything unless it is the will of Isaias. Now one in the Eritrean government will so much as breath, unless it is the will of Isaias. Quit bashing the subordinate, if you have greivances name your enemy, Isaias.

Your buddies are in prison only because that's what Isaias wants, you need to accept that truth.

Don't be stupid. It's not a matter of love and hate. It's a matter of advancing one's interests. What I attempted to do was to see if there is any way the Eritrean gov't and the Ethiopian opposition can collaborate in advancing their mutual interests, i.e., the removal of the Woyanne junta and bring peace to the region. By arresting two senior leaders of Tinsae Ethiopia, the Eritrean gov't has shown that it has no interest in establishing a mutually beneficial relationship with Ethiopians and demonstrated its contempt for genuine nationalist Ethiopians.

You have to understand Eritrean government is not interested in mutual interest, that's just lip service until they get power over you. Then you will be liquidated just like all our former liberation fighters G-15:

Petros Solomon
Mahmoud Ahmed Sherifo
Haile Woldense
Mesfin Hagos
Ogbe Abraha
Hamid Himid
Saleh Idris Kekya
Estifanos Seyoum
Berhane Ghebrezgabiher
Astier Fesehazion
Mohammed Berhan Blata
Germano Nati
Beraki Gebreselassie
Adhanom Ghebremariam
Mahamoud Ahmed

If you can't learn from this simple history lesson, i don't think you can move forward with revolution successfully. These people fought with HIGDEF/Isaias for more than 30 years and look what happened to them, What makes you think you can do any better your not even the same nationality as Isaias. Once a snake always a snake.

Elias,

Listen this brother; he knows what he's talking about.

Elias,

I don't know why you are lashing out against Eritrean government. You should not assume that the Eritrean government will babysit Ethiopian opposition until they meet success and put their interest first.

The Eritrean government has its own interests and pressures. They are not even in super rush to bring down Weyane at all costs as Weyane has already rotted from within and will collapse eventually and god knows who will come to power after that in Ethiopia.

You should lash out against the many Ethiopians who have been bribed and coopted by TPLF in exchange for money and business favors. Ethiopia is under 6% minority rule and institutionalizing ethnic and religious differences and corruption that will hinder Ethiopian state for many years to come. TPLF bosses are getting very wealthy throwing big parties and weddings even in US, selling land to Indians, etc and many prominent Ethiopians are going along with it for few bread crumbs. You should be mad at them. They are biggest barrier to overcoming injustice in Ethiopia.

PetrosEritrea,

elias knew hgdef was worst creature when it comes to treating the citizens. i remember asking him specifically why he should ignore hgdef atrocities and become their ally. he admitted hgdef human right record is not something to be proud of. but then he said it's eritrean internal issue and shut me up. i asked him again how he sees those jailed eritrean heros. he told me it's internal eritrea issue and went ahead calling Africa's most cruel president as president of the year.

it's no longer internal eritrean issue when isayas threw his buddies in jail and now elias is bursting in tears crying asif isayas just turned monster today. allying with cruel dictator has price and I can't believe elias, with all the intellegent mind he has, failed to predict this risk.

Elias,

Its not like people in the struggle didn't warned you beforehand when you were trying to deal with the shabians!! Now look what happen!

What the Eritrean gov't wants is puppet groups like TPDM that they can install in Arat Kilo -- the same way they brought TPLF to power, which turned out to be a disaster for them. Trying to install puppet groups like TPDM is already backfiring on the Eritrean regime.

Ok we understand your beef with shabia, but what is your beef with "TPDM"?!?! What is your problem if TPDM replaces TPLF?!? After all you were quoted saying you wanted TPLF to be ousted and replaced by any means possible?!? Now shabians are telling you TPDM can and will march to Arat kilo palace to liberate Ethiopia from TPLF? What is wrong with that!?! Why do you not have confidence on TPDM to the point calling them puppets of shabia?!?

Elias,

Tell me one good reason why you are locking horns with TPDM?!? Forget this they are shabia's puppets nonsense stuff; you were shabia's puppet yourself just like them!! You were working with shabia, and they are working with shabia, you oppose TPLF and they (TPDM) oppose TPLF too...
