To all Weyane Monkeys in ER, I am very very sorry for your master loss.

“He is resting from exhaustion… He will be back in ten days…. He is in hospital….No, he is on holiday…. He is in town…No, he is in Europe… No, no, no…he is relaxing in America…,” TPLF officials told the public in the past two weeks. But Zenawi is nowhere to be seen. He was neither in the palace nor in his rubber-stamp parliament making and unmaking laws. And yet, TPLF’s creative stories change within hours and each weird story adds more fuel to wild speculations and rumors.

I personally challenge the TPLF high command to disprove this fact instead of fabricating conflicting and contradictory stories to convince us that he was alive and kicking. Though some TPLF officials may believe that Zenawi is a superman who can be in Addis Ababa, Europe and America at the same time most Ethiopians do no buy such a fantasy.

The Ethiopian people has a right to know the whereabouts of its ruler. This will help the people of Ethiopia to make critical decisions on the future of the country. Bring Meles Zenawi out alive or in a coffin for a final farewell. Then we will stand corrected.

Ethiopian Prime Minister Meles Zenawi is in "a good condition and recuperating", a government spokesman has told the BBC, dismissing reports he is critically ill.

However, Bereket Simon declined to give any details about Mr Meles' whereabouts or what he is suffering from.

Mr Bereket had earlier been quoted as saying the prime minister, 57, was on holiday.

Speculation began when he missed last month's African Union summit.

There were reports that Mr Meles was in hospital in Belgium, suffering from a stomach complaint.

But Mr Bereket was quoted as saying by The Reporter newspaper that opposition forces were trying to "create confusion" by talking about the prime minister's health.

He told the BBC Focus on Africa programme it was "not useful" to provide more details.

When asked who was in charge while Mr Meles was being treated, he replied: "The status quo is maintained - there is no change and there will be no change in the near future."

It is believed that Mr Meles' last public appearance was at the G20 talks in Mexico in June.

He took power as the leader of a rebel movement which ousted the communist government of Mengistu Haile Mariam in 1991.

He has won several elections since then, but his political opponents have accused him of using repression to retain power.

በሳዑዲ-አረቢያ 35 ኢትዮጵያውያን ክርስቲያኖች ተጠርዘው ከአገር ተባረሩ

ኢሳት ዜና:-የሳዑዲ አረቢያ መንግስት ከ7ወራት በላይ በእስር ቤት ሲያሰቃያቸው የነበሩ 35 ኢትዮጵያውያን ክርስቲያኖችን ባሳለፍነው ሳምንት ከአገሪቱ ማባረሩ ተገለፀ።

እነዚሁ ኢትዮጵያውያን ተይዘው የታሰሩት፣ ባለፈው ታህሳስ 5 ቀን 2004 ዓ.ም በጅዳ ከተማ በአንደኛው ጓደኛቸው ቤት ተሰባስበው በመፀለይ ላይ ሳሉ ሲሆን፣ በእስር ላይ ሳሉ ሃይማኖታቸውን በግዴታ እንዲቀይሩ ከፍተኛ ማስፈራሪያና ጫና ይደረግባቸው እንደነበር ዓለም አቀፍ የክርስቲያኖች ድርጅት አስታውቋል።

ከነዚሁ ኢትዮጵያውያን መካከል 26ቱ ሴቶች ስድስቱ ደግሞ ወንዶች ሲሆኑ፤ በአሜሪካ መንግስት ዓለም አቀፍ የሃይማኖቶች ነፃነት ኮሚሽን፣ እንዲሁም የተለያዩ የሰብዓዊ መብት ተሟጋች ድርጅቶች በተጨማሪ እንዳስታወቁት፣ ኢትዮጵያውያኑ በእስር ቤት ሳሉ፣ የወሲብ ጥቃትና በአካላቸው ላይ በግልጽ የሚታይ ድብደባ ተፈጽሞባቸዋል።

ሂዩማን ራይትስ ዎች ካሁን ቀደም በእስረኞቹ ላይ እየደረሰባቸው የነበረውን ጥቃት በመቃወም ባወጣው መግለጫ እንደጠቆመው ሴቶች በብልታቸው ውስጥየደበቁት ነገር ይኖራል በማለት በአንድ ጓንት ሁሉንም ሲመረምሩ እንደነበር አስታውቆ ነበር።

ሳኡዲ አረቢያ እ.ኤ.አ. ከ2004 ጀምሮ የሃይማኖት ነፃነት የተረጋገጠባት አገር ተብላ በአሜሪካ መንግስት ጭምር እውቅና የተሰጣት አገር ብትሆንም፣ የእስልምና ዕምነት ተከታይ ባልሆኑ በውጭ አገር ተወላጆች ላይ እየደረሰ ያለው ጭቆናና በደል ከጊዜ ወደጊዜ እየጨመረ መምጣቱን የሰብዓዊ መብት ተሟጋች ድርጅቶች፣ እያወጡት ካለው ማስረጃ ማረጋገጥ ይቻላል።

የሳዑዲ መንግስት እ.ኤ.አ በ2006 ላይ ከእስልምና በቀር የማንኛውም ሃይማኖት ተከታይ በአገሪቱ ውስጥ በይፋ አምልኮ እንዳይፈጽም የሚያግድ ሕግ ቢያወጣም፣የሌላ እምነት ተከታዮች በየመኖሪያቸው የራሳቸውን አምልኮ እንዲፈጽሙ ፈቅዶ ነበር።

የዓለም አቀፉ የክርስቲያኖች ድርጅት የሕግና የፍትህ ማዕከል ዳይሬክተር የሆኑት ጆርዳን ሲኩሎው ይህንኑ አስመልክቶ ለኢየሩሳሌም ፖስት ድረ-ገጽ እንደገለፁት “በኢትዪጵያውያኖቹ ላይ የተፈፀመው ጥቃት፣ በሳኡዲ አረቢያ ውስጥ የእስልምና ዕምነት ተከታይ ያልሆኑ ሰዎች በመኖሪያ ቤታቸው ውስጥ የራሳቸውን አምልኮ መፈፀም እንደማይችሉ ብቻ ሳይሆን፣ በአገሪቷ ላይ ምንም አይነት የሃይማኖት ነፃነት እንደሌለ የሚያረጋግጥ ክስተት ነው ብለዋል።“

ከእስረኞቹ መካከል አንደኛውም፣ ዓለም ዓቀፍ የክርስቲያኖች ድርጅት ባደረገው ብርቱ ጥረትና ግፊት ተለቀው በሰላም ወዳገራቸው በመግባታቸው እንደተደሰቱ ገልጿል።ይኸው ለክርስቲያኖች መብት የቆመው ድርጅት ልዩ ልዩ አካላትን በማስተባበር እ.ኤ.አ ማርች 26 2012 ዋሽንግተን ዲሲ በሚገኘው የሳውዲ አረቢያኤምባሲ ፊት ለፊት ሰላማዊ ሰልፍ በማድረግ፣ ያለአግባብ የታሰሩት ኢትዮጵያውያን እንዲፈቱ ለንጉስ አብዱላህ ጥያቄ አቅርቦ ነበር። ባንፃሩ የኢትዮጵያ መንግስት እነዚህን እስረኞች ከነበሩበት የስቃይ ህይወት ለማላቀቅ ጥረት ማድረግ ትቶ “በሕገ-ወጥ መንገድ ወደ ሳኡዲ አረቢያ የገቡ ናቸው” በማለት የዜጎችን መብት ለማስከበር በቅድሚያ መቆም ሲገባው፣ በተቃራኒው ለመሳለቅ መሞከሩ ብዙዎችን ያሳዘነና ያሸማቀቀ ምላሽ ነበር ሲል ቅዱስ ሀብት በላቸው ከአውስትራሊያ ዘግቧል።

በፌደራል ፖሊስ በጸጥታ እና ህግ ማስከበር ዳይሬክቶሬት የኦፕሬሽን ምክትል ዳይሬክተር የሆኑት ኮማንደር ፍጹም ግርማይ በበኩላቸው በህገ መንግስቱ ላይ የሚመጣውን ማንኛውንም ነገር ለመከላከል መስዋት ለመክፈል ዝግጁ ነን ብለዋል::

መንግስት የሙስሊም እንቅስቃሴ መሪዎችን በማሰር ውዝግቡ ሊበርድ ይችላል ብሎ ተስፋ ቢያደርግም፣ ሙስሊሞች ግን መሪዎቻችን ይፈቱ የሚል ተጨማሪ ጥያቄ በማቅረብ ትግላቸውን ከመቀጠል ውጭ ወደ ሁዋላ ለመመለስ ዝግጁ አለመሆናቸውን ኢሳት ያነጋገራቸው ሙስሊሞች መግለጻቸው ይታወሳለ።

በፖሊስ የቀረበው ማስጠንቀቂያ የሙስሊሙ እንቅስቃሴ መንግስትን በእጅጉ እያሰጋው መምጣቱን እንደሚያሳይ አስተያየታቸውን የሰጡን አንድ ሙስሊም ገልጠዋል።

ሙስሊሙ የጠየቀው ጥያቄ ህገመንግስቱ ይከበርልን የሚል ሆኖ እያለ ፣ የፖሊስ አዛዞች ህገመንግስቱን ለማስከበር አስፈላጊውን እርምጃ እንወስዳለን ብለው መዛታቸው በመንግስትና በሙስሊሙ መካከል ያለው ውዝግብ በቀላሉ ሊበርድ እንደማይችል አመላካች ነው በማለት አስተያየት ሰጪው ተናግረዋል።

ከ500 ሺ በላይ የሚሆኑ ሙስሊሞች ባለፈው አርብ ነጭ ጨርቅ በመያዝ ተቃውዋቸውን ገልጸው እንደነበር ይታወሳል፡፤ የፊታችን አርብም ተመሳሳይ ተቃውሞ እንደሚካሄድ ለማወቅ ተችሎአል።

gave the world a spectacular sporting events as well as other entertainments in these past two weeks. When the world descended on this usually crowded and cold city, beginning some three weeks ago, the locals make every effort to accommodate its international guests. In fact, a lot of Londoners have vacated the city to accommodate the incomers- not to mention the vast Olympic village dedicated for Olympiads and their families in the historically run down East of London no doubt whose image is changed totally after these events.
