Woizerit-Hoy Kebedech Seyoum was married to Dejazmatch Abera Kassa, son of Ras Kassa Hailu, who was the grandson and heir of Ras Darge Sahle Selassie. Thus, her sons, Dejazmatchs Amha Abera, Amde Abera and Tariku Abera are members of the House of Shewa. Woizerit-Hoy Kebedech was a valiant warrior woman, who, upon hearing that her husband had been executed by the Italians, had gathered his army under her personal command and battled the fascist forces 14 times before retreating into the Sudan. This occurred in spite of the fact that she had only given birth days before she assumed command.

It's understandable for you to not believe such courage existed against the Italian invaders especially from a woman. All you were told had made to feel proud of is up to 150,000 Eritrean ascari men served Italians in their war against Africa. It is a fact that Eritrea was the biggest source of ascari source. read the below interview and see the stark difference between ascari and Ethiopian patriots.

I was a soldier of the Italian
I have lived eighty years and the period of the Italians. I was a soldier of the Italians, I was in Libya, on the side of Benghazi, and later in Libya. Then he returned from Libya, I and my mates we were in Ethiopia, we conquered Ethiopia. [...] [...] I was good at the time of the Italians, I had to pay graduated, I had three red stripes, I was Sciumé kisses, which was as a sergeant or corporal. [...] At that time life was good, not like today. The main contradictions of Italian politics we have seen with fascism. In the period before the state of relations between the Italians and Eritreans us was certainly not bad. I I have some memories of the first period of the Italians, even through my family. My father was a soldier, since 1896 [...] We did not know anything more young people during the Italian, we were soldiers only. The Italians were good, yes, but there were many forms of discrimination, such as in bars, restaurants, shops. We were fed separately, we could not join the Italians, and in this we have done wrong. But this was an order of Mussolini, was not so in the first period. [...] [...] One thing I must add, however: the Libyans and Somalis take more, have an increased pay, they take the pay as the Italians. We, however, pay us little, and then we complain because our treatment is different. But we have made the war in Libya, Ethiopia, have occupied this land from the Italians, then we have been abandoned [...].

Testimony of MG, born in Eritrea in 1913, recorded at Addi Ugri in 1993

The shabo pigs used Tigrayans and many other Ethiopians for their seccession. without the woyannes, they wouldn't have achived independence. But they would like to tell us that they single handedly distroyed Mengistu. How funny does that sound?

They are so moron, they are using the same tactic to lure G7 and EPPF so that they can claim another victory using Ethiopian heart and soul.

A book written under the titled "The collusion on Eritrea" by Bocresion Haile(an eritrean)
affirms the above highlighted statement how Somalis were feared by their Italian masters and how terribly their eritrean counterpart askaris were treated.

An excerpt from the book:

The Eritrean Asker (means servant in Turkish) had to cook his food and to walk bare-footed unlike his Somali comrade, who had shoes, who was not lashed for any offence and who got cooked food. This because, the first Somali who was lashed by the Italians, had killed the Italian who supervised the lashing.

Ya right unless you are one Qiiemalam Tigray , no one believe that. The @igames come to the pictures in the 90's other than that they were just FARA local shiftas and TELALAKIS. Ask your Revolutionary leader who is not dead to witness, GUAD Mengistu Hailemariam. :D He will tell you who's muscle was shocking him. Ask your left over Derg soldiers and colonels who made them cry like a little bitchhhhh. Ask the mercenary foreign fighters, who made them shittt in their pants. Mengistu, never fought in Tigray with his military, Airborn, Navy, as he fought in Eritrea. Instead, he send ABAT TURETEGNAS to fight the woyanes. If it was not for Eritreans, ABAT TURETEGNAS would have kicked the @igames. :D
