Eden

What you telling me here highly contradicts the present reality.

1- Every Eritrean i met refuses an association with Tigray. They often get angry and would like to present themselves as a separate entity. This is not a reaction of one person. it is 99.9% of Eritrean i met reacts negatively whenever there is an attempt to associate them with Tigray people

2 - You said Tigrigna beher didn't exist 2 decades ago. In that case, why did the people of the then northern Ethiopia produced to Liberation fronts (EPLF and TPLF). Don't you think there should have been one Liberation front if they are one entity? And also, if the name Tigrigna Beher appears just 2 decades ago, Is that not the time where the people took the justice on their hand to call themselves or be called by the name they choose themselves?

You are confusing matters here. mic is free

Eden the Tigrayan is so insecure. People of the Kebessa don't marry a*games, that is before PFDJ/EPLF    You know how many wars we had with these a*games. They, historically are the monkeys on our backs even today with the head monkeys in charge in Addis Ababa.

Semira,

It's history. The italians settled in the "Tigrigna" area but not Tigray area. Hailesellasie used the "tigrigna" to subdue the Tigrian. Mengie used Tigrians to subdue "Tigrigna." This led to their differences. Both the points you raised are related to this.

Semira, attitude happen in every ethnic group, it's a mechanisim to survive- to stay as distinct gosa or bihere  I think you should stick to your "tigrigna beher"

Belaynesh

I often see a lower self esteem on you than other Tigrayans here. It looks all your plea to be seen similar to the Eritreans has been rejected with insults and attitudes. you are a shame to the womb that carried you 9 months. Shewit, even though harsh is too proud Tigrawot that had earned respect accross the river. But you are one hopeless soul

He is "Tigrigna" which is Eritrean. Get it?

QQQQQ... yeah, I get it  his parents are Tigres from Tigray. He was born in Tigray. he's the founder and president of Ertra. he has invented Tigrigna bihere, the new generation of Tigrean rulers of ertra. Smart! 8) 8)

To begin with, there is no such thing called "tigrigna" ethnic group. It's an invention by PFDJ/ HIGDEF. If you want to prove this to yourself, google and see the first time the term "tigrigna" ethnic group [not tigrigna language] was ever used. It doesn't go past 2 decades

Your attitude is the result of the italian contact. Italians, by design or accident, told some Africans are better than others. This propaganda worked to divide and rule and it still is in the minds of some of our parents and their children - seeing from your statment above.

I beg to differ in that. I have read enough history. the animosity between Tigray and Eritrean Tigrigna goes beyond menge and HaileSelassie. There is historical account that says Minlik after the Apic adwa battle wanted to forgive the Eritrean Askaris. But the Tigrayan nobles wanted to chop the hands of those Eritrean Tigrigna nobles who allied with Italy.

It says, minlik took a lesser harsh action to satisfy both. If you want i can produce the source. The moral of the story is that such animosity between Tigray and Behere-Tigrigna wasn't created by Menge or Haileselassie as you tell me now. It is too old and has gone through the culture and generation. Infact, TPLF often heard giving the same excuse as the one you gave

Mitmita,

forget Isayas the new leader. Even Wolde Ab Wolde Mariam, considered the father of Eritrea liberation, is a Tigrian. I don't mean to mess you up but that is the darn truth.

Semira,

I read Atse Menilik ordered harsh punishment on collaborators but I have never heard or read the Tigrian elite advised Atse Menelik to take that action. I'm all ears to hear you on this. produce the evidence please.

as far as haileselassie time, you can see it from the number of "tigrigna" men who made it in Addis and as far as mengie time, you can see it from the number of tigray men who made it in Asmara.
