You didn't prove anything at all. Fact of the matter is Tigray and Amhara lands were traditionally Agew lands and you can see that by the historical evidence of what the Agews left behind. Abyssinians are Agews, as well as part Oromo (depending on the region) that inherited the cultures of Axum. This is different from the original Ge'ez speakers who may have absorbed Agew influence when they migrated north. For the most part Biher Tigrinya are Semitic, with Beja and minor Agew influences. There's nothing wrong with being Agew, they're beautiful people with a rich culture. But for some reason if you tell an Abyssinian they are Agew or Oromo they get offended. And that's the picture I was trying to project. The multi ethnic Abyssinians are using their own true identity to oppress people like the Oromos, and other minorities. Haile Selassie himself belong to three ethnic group. So it is a big illogical and laughable when I hear Amharas and Tigrayans trying to separate themselves from their own Ethiopian brothers while trying to attach themselves to Eritreans (the holders of Axumite culture as well as many other cultures, Beja and so on). There's no real reason or evidence for "Ethiopians" to attach themselves to Eritreans, if anything Abyssinians have more in common and have been more influenced by the people who share the same country as they do, yet they shun them? If anything Eritrea has more of a closer relationship with Sudan, but we don't use that as a justification for invasion and annexation.

So lets stop with the "we are the same" filth. Ethiopia is a multi ethnic country, no one can claim one ethnicity. And the same goes for Eritrea and the majority of Africa. "Habesha" culture is not Ethiopian culture, it is the mere cultural pot that every group in Ethiopia typically melts into to acquire social mobility. So lets stop the nonsense....

He is referring to the tribalism in Ethiopia. There's never been a such thing in Eritrea, other than ethnic harmony and peaceful coexistence. Eritreans being proud of Axum is just stating the obvious and just one part of our history, since we are home to other kingdoms. But we don't let the past define us nor limit us.
