Surprise! Surprise! I'm Getting Good Vibes About Hailemariam Dessalegne

Postby revolutions » 23 Aug 2012, 21:19

I'm getting good vibes about Hailemariam Dessalegne. There is a divine reason for his rise to power. God works in mysterious ways. The Ethiopian people have suffered long and hard, God intervened in the nick of time. I know the country's financial, political, military and media institutions are under strict control of the TPLF tribal minority junta to make his work more difficult, but I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and wait and see if he can offer something different from his disgraced predecessor and lead the country through the critical transition period. I don't expect him to work miracles, but he could at least put the house in order by neutralizing, if not eradicating, the remnants of the corrupt Meles regime. His demeanor strikes me as someone who is incorruptible. But don't hold me to it.

P.S. I am in no way endorsing Hailemariam Dessalege, nor am I offered to go out on a date with his beautiful and intelligent daughter in exchange for my candid appraisal of him.

Revolutions,

Roha´s prime minister is neither in a position to effect change nor reform the existing policies. He is sad creature caught in fire. If he got of of this mess alive, I would label his term as successful. When he gave statement to the press about the death of the frog, he was shaking like no other. He knows that they kept him there until a clear winner emerges from the big tribal sharks. After than he knows they will eat him alive. He will have hard time satisfying different camps. Working for many bosses, he is already having headache. That is the fate of condoms.

P.S. Even with the disclaimer, you have concluded too early and I have the feeling that it is totally wrong conclusion while you know that the tribal junta is very much in control.

No doubt about that. I think one has to be dumber than a rock to expect Eng Hailemariam to effect any disernful change while he is on Weyane short leash.

The woyane supporters at the Paltalk rooms are already crying foul over his appointment as the acting Prime Minister, because he doesn't fit their preconceived notion of which ethnic group should rule Ethiopia. Some people in the room were saying "Be Amara Anegezam!" while some others were quick to correct them that , he's not Amara, but Wolayta. But they all agree on one thing: the TPLF martyrs didn't give their lives so a Wolayta man can rule Ethiopia. They're backward people, and unfortunately, the people surrounding HaileMariam Dessalege are as backward thinking tribalists as their Paltalk room supporters. I wouldn't be surprised if he's forced to resign before the end of the transitional period, unless something drastic happens and the woyane elite flee the country.

 Please do not uplift your hopes over Hailemariam. He is not in a Liberty do anything by his own. Let alone he will not have guts of some MPS oppose directly. He does what masters tell do, he tells what masters ask of him nothing more nothing less. All of his dueties are pre arranged, preprogrammed
if and when he step out of line he would be descarded like servant's undrwear in full nose and breath holdings.
Talking to some of people out of Arbaminch where he comes from, I did not hear anything positive about him. He is a man who would bow to who ever offer him opportunity. He graduated from Finland Community College in sewer sanitation getting his AA degree. If that translate to equivalent of Ethiopian
version of Masters in Engineering I do not know. Otherwise he was described as worst opportunist who can be a lot mean personality. Vindictive and care less about the people he represents. He is nothing
more than a circus, tamed animal. Infact much of linching of Ethiopian oppositions murders, disappearances will increase during his time, for the blame will be his. He is supposedly the leader and the thugs blame it on him. Please, do not be so neive about this man, he has no controls over his own domains, let alone governing complex country with polycitis!
He came from humble home and little known ethnic from southern Ethiopia.

Hailemariam got that spot after being noticed by meles. he showed to meles what meles would like to see. i.e hating on every poor amhara and use the neftexna rehotoric in every subjects. the fact that hailemariam himself is from a minority welayta is on good ticket for him to be a choice of puppet. whether hailemariam was faking it or not (his hate on anything amhara) , we don't know. but i am in the school of thought that says Hailemariam is a mortally wounded individual when it comes to inferiority complex to amharas much like meles and the rest of TPLF goons. Infact, many people who knew him have already started to speak out his similarities in thought with the rest of weyannes. you grew up that way means you are likely die that way. therefore, i don't give hailemariam the benefit of the doubt. he will continue the same way Meles worked and the only difference these time will be that hailemariam will be ordered by low level TPLFs despite holding the premiership role

I think Revolutions recognizes that choosing Hailemariam for PM will hasten downfall of TPLF. That explains his sudden fondness for the gap toothed one.

Hailemariam is very weak and the day he is chosen PM will be the day that every faction of TPLF will begin the Super Bowl of political infighting. The never ending soap opera will lead to paralysis of decision making, aggravate corruption, the military/security will take over and then military will also split and finally any civil disturbance will gain momemtum and bring down the government as no one will be clearly in charge. In addition to hastening downfall of TPLF, this is also the more entertaining scenario in next few months.

If TPLF can rally around one figure now they might keep house of cards standing for a bit longer. Maybe even until 2015.

Take my word, Hailemariam will never ever order the military. Hailemariam will be just symbol. The security chief which will be the Tigrian will order the military. If Haile were to exercise power with out the will of those 4 or 7 people he will be shot to death. Currently they are trying to fake it.
The fact is the POWER IS A FAMILY BUSINESS AND WON'T GIVE IT UP WITH OUT A BLOOD.

First of all if Haile were tough guy Meles would have never picked him. He is more like a happy servant. Meles never kept any man in his administration who challenges him.

Hailemariam should resign if he has one iota of integrity and pride. He is made a Tigre slave.
