The reason Behind Hailemariam Desalgne’s short lived acting PM Position

Postby Tazabi-1 » 27 Aug 2012, 15:24

Here is the reason: Soon after Bereket announced Hailemariam Desalegne as honourable acting PM, It didn’t take long the potential TPLF splinter group to accuse the Seyum-Bereket lead group for trespassing the constitution i.e., the splinter group line of argument is that only the parliament could bestow the title of either acting or PM until the next election. So Bereket was in hot water for jumping the gun.
Since the constitution doesn’t clearly stipulate the terms related to succession of the PM, it is open for all kind of interpretations. As you all remember, Aboy Sebhat was laying grounds for future confrontation by insinuating that that if the parliament wishes, it could change PMs hundred times. The debate got heated and The Bereket- Seyum lead group agreed to summon the parliament immediately to give the appointment of Hailemariam a constitutional backing and move on.

However, the splinter group didn't want to go ahead with quick fix and it forced the Seyum-Bereket lead group which is working with the help of American Administration to appoint Hailemariam Desalegne as PM until 2015 and make sure the status quo continues, to postpone the planed parliamentary session for indefinite time inorder for respective fronts to discuss the matter and then convene an EPRDF meeting before the matter goes to the parliament. Technically, the splinter group wants to subject the appointment of Hailemariam for an open discussion which didn’t sit well with Seyum-Bereket lead group and US admin. Obama, after learning the wrangling within top TPLF leaders, called Hailemariam to affirm his support for his appointment.
Bereket who tried to cover up for the postponement of the parliamentary session which was supposed to crown Hailemariam as PM by reasoning that the people need time to mourn and the parliament in response to people’s out pouring grief, decided to postpone the session. However, Bereket never gave an alternative date which is a sign of a discord between the feuding groups on succession plans. Bereket's facial expression lately has been saying it all; he is in hot water and very worried. Bereket and et al who have Eritrean origin and who have been at the helm by Meles’ unflinching support are now at risk of losing their jobs. Many insiders believe that Bereket, Neway and others with Eritrean origin who have been serving as PMMZ’s right hand are now at the risk of losing their jobs and many insiders are advising them to seek employment somewhere else or skip town before it is too late!

Allah We'Akor

The might Axum Tsion is coming to rescue us again from the Diqalu I have been telling the fools Tigrayans to get rid of them all from Tigray and any position should not be given to non Tigrayan because he or she speaks Tigrigna. Key positions should be to Tigrayans to make sure the fate of Tigray should be fallen in the hands of Tigdryans not Diqualu like Noway Gebreab, Bereket Simon, Berhane Gebrekirstos, Samora Yanus, Nesanet, Tewederos Adhanom and Hagos and others.

Finally the Tigrayan heads start to function after 50 years dormant.

Can you give us who are the splinters list so that we can determine where the country is heading right now.

BTW, your post is like my mom serve me Ye Dero Wet with a dozen of eggs.

Tazabi1 has been the most informed member of this form so far. Almost every thing he has been writing about has come to be true. Keep it up.

I am very open minded about Taazabi-1. I would like to be convinced he is a good source of info. Can some one give me an example of something Taazabi-1 said , was impossible to find from any other source, and has come to pass? Has he said anything PARTICULAR (meaning, something that can NOT be guessed) and then come out to be true.

I am not trying to discount Taazabi at all. If he is a good source of info, more praise to him. I just did not see anything useful or amazing coming from him. Forgive me if I am wrong but I would love to know why he is not part of the disinformation campaign of the rogue Bereket & co.?

Shouldn't you be worried about who's gonna take over? You could end-up losing more than your measly Badime. Some of your collaborators would love to see Assab brought back and to build a beach-front villa.
