Ethiopia’s ruling Party’s (EPRDF) Executive Committee is set to meet tomorrow to elect the new Prime Minister of the Country and Chairperson of the Front. Following the death of Meles Zenawi, the Party has remained without a Chairperson. Hailemariam is the current Deputy Chairperson of EPRDF.

Although the government Communications Office had stated that Hailemariam would be the Acting PM until the Parliament fully approves him, his new title was used for only few days. State media restarted calling him with his previous portfolio of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister.

There are reports that due to pressure from the Tigrean People’s Liberation Front (EPRDF’s mover and shaker), the Front might propose another Prime Minister and Hailemariam might not be selected as Prime Minister. Other political commentators state that Hailemarim could be approved as the Prime Minister of Ethiopia until the next election in 2015 and run the nation as a “Medvedev for a group of Putins”. The security apparatus and core power still is in the hands of TPLF.
Hours ago, Hailemraim gave a Live TV address on the State Tv, ETV and vowed that the policies and visions of the late Prime Minister would be continued without any change. He thanked the public for the “decency” shown over the past 15 days since the death of the late Prime Minister was announced.

The Front’s press release sent out today stated that the Front’s Executive Committee will begin its regular meeting tomorrow at the Party’s Office in Addis Abeba and will discuss on the implementation of the Growth and Transformation Plan (GTP), budgets of the just ended fiscal year, preparations to better execute the late Prime Minister’s visions, other agendas that will be raised by the attendants and passes decisions.

Meles has left Ethiopia and the EPRDF on solid foundations. His vision will no doubt succeed in transforming Ethiopia and this vision is likely going to be copied through out Africa, what political economists may call later as "Melesism" or "Zenawism".
EPRDF will not make a single glitch during the transition because they know the price they will pay if they stray a single step from the transition blue print left by Meles.
For anyone reading this in the opposition, the old style and outdated vision for Ethiopia is long dead. Better update your political programs and visions for Ethiopia. If there is any opportunity for you to grasp power, it is most likely after 20 years from the day Meles passed away.
My advice to the political opposition in diaspora, go back to Ethiopia, get a job, invest and start a new life. Or, keep on dreaming and reorganizing from diaspora to come to power after 30 years from now.
The EPRDF will stay in power in total of at least 50 years, adding from 1991. They will simply readjust with time by emulating the Chinese communist party's tactics with full support of the ethnic, nation nationalities of Ethiopia united under the Constitution of the Federal government of Ethiopia.

They will give the premiership to one of these two TPLF hyenas and keep the sheep Hailemariam as a deputy PM

ወ/ሮ አዜብ ለድጋፍ ማሰባሰቢያ ይጠቅሙኛል የሚሉዋቸው የህወሃት ሰዎች ለቅሶ ለመድረስ ቤተመንግስት በሚመጡበት ወቅት አንገታቸውን እያነቁ በማልቀስና በማስለቀስ፣የማይፈልጉዋቸውን ደግሞ ፊት ሲነሱ መቆየታቸው በተለይ በአመራር ላይ ባሉት የብአዴን ሰዎች ዘንድ አልተወደደላቸውም፡፡

የኢህአዴግ አባል ድርጅቶች ከዚህ ሳምንት ጀምሮ ጉባኤያቸውን በማካሄድ ለሁለት ዓመታት የሚቆዩ አመራሮቻቸውን የሚመርጡ ሲሆን በመጪው መስከረም ወር ኢህአዴግ በአቶ መለስ ዜናዊ ምትክ አቶ ኃይለማርያም ደሳለኝን ሊቀመንበር አድርጎ ይመርጣል ተብሎ ይጠበቃል፡፡

በተለይም በአቶ ኃይለማርያም ተይዞ የነበረው የምክትል ሊቀመንበርነት ቦታ ህወሃት ላለማጣት ከብአዴን ጋር ፍጥጫ ውስጥ መግባቱን፣በዚህ ፍጥጫ ውስጥም ወ/ሮ አዜብ አሸናፊ ሆነው ለመውጣት እየጣሩ ነው፡፡ህወሃት ወ/ሮ አዜብ መስፍንን በሊቀመንበርነት ከተቀበለ የኢህአዴግ ምክትል ሊቀመንበርነት ቦታ የማግኘታቸው ጉዳይ አጠራጣሪ እንደማይሆን ከወዲሁ መገመቱን ምንጫችን ጠቁሟል፡፡

በአሁኑ ሰዓት የህወሃት ሥራ አስፈጻሚ በመሆን በማገልገል ላይ ካሉት ውስጥ አቶ መለስ በሞት ሲለዩ ብዙዎቹ ከኢህአዴግ የመተካካት ስትራቴጂ ጋር ተያይዞ በአዲስ የሚተኩ ናቸው፡፡

አቶ አባይ ወልዱ የፓርቲው ምክትል ሊቀመንበርና የትግራይ ክልል ፕሬዚዳንት፣ዶ/ር ቴዎድሮስ አድሃኖም፣አቶ ቴዎድሮስ ሐጎስ፣አቶ ጸጋዬ በርሄ (የቀድሞ የትግራይ ክልል ፕሬዚዳንትና በአሁኑ ወቅት የጠ/ሚኒስትሩ አማካሪ) ፣ዶ/ር ደብረጽዮን ገ/ሚካኤል፣ወ/ሮ አዜብ መስፍን፣አቶ በየነ ምክሩ፣አቶ አባዲ ዘሙ የህወሀት የስራ አስፈጻሚ አባላት መሆናቸው ይታወቃል።

በተያያዘ ዜና ከ12 ቀናት በፊት የአቶ መለስ ሞት እንደተሰማ የሚኒስትሮች ም/ቤት ተሰብስቦ አቶ ኃይለማርያም ደሳለኝን በተጠባባቂ ጠ/ሚኒስትርነት እንዲሰሩ ውሳኔ ያሳለፈ ቢሆንም የም/ቤቱ ውሳኔ ከህግ አግባብ ውጪ ነው የሚል ቅሬታ በኢህአዴግ አመራር ውስጥ በመፈጠሩ ለጥቂት ቀናት “ተጠባባቂ፣ጊዜያዊ” በመባል በመንግስት መገናኛ ብዙሃን ሲነገርላቸው የነበሩት አቶ ኃይለማርያም ምክትል ጠ/ሚኒስትርና የውጪ ጉዳይ ሚኒስትር ብቻ እንዲባሉ በተላለፈው ትዕዛዝ መሰረት ሚዲያዎቹ በዚሁ መሰረት እየሰሩ መሆኑ ታውቋል፡፡

የአቶ ኃይለማርያም ሹመት ቅሬታ ያስነሳው ጠ/ሚኒስትር(ተጠባባቂን ጨምሮ) እንዲሾምለት ዕጩ የማቅረብ ሥልጣን የገዥው ፓርቲ ኢህአዴግ እንጂ የሚኒስትሮች ም/ቤት ሥልጣን አይደለም፡፡ኢህአዴግ ዕጩ ካቀረበ በኃላ በቀጥታ ለፓርላማ ቀርቦ ሌሎችም ዕጩዎች ካሉ ተጠቁመው ተወዳድሮ ከተመረጠ በኃላ ቃለመሃላ ፈጽሞ ወደሥራ መግባት አለበት የሚል ህግ ነክ ክርክር ቀርቦ በማሸነፉ መሆኑን ምንጫችን አስታውሶአል፡፡በዚህ ውሳኔ መሰረትም አቶ ኃይለማርያም ጠ/ሚኒስትሩ በሌሉ ወቅት ተክተው ይሰራሉ በሚለው የህገመንግስቱ ድንጋጌ መሰረት በቀድሞ ማዕረጋቸው እየሰሩ መሆኑ ነው፡፡

በፓርላማ ሊያደርጉት ታስቦ የነበረውም ቃለመሃላ እንዲሰረዝ የተደረገው ከዚሁ ምክንያት ጋር ተያይዞ መሆኑም ታውቋል፡፡ከሳምንት በፊት ይህው ጉዳይ በመግለጫ ላይ የተነሳባቸው አቶ በረከት ስምኦን የፓርላማ አባላቱ ሐዘን ላይ በመሆናቸው መራዘሙን መግለጻቸው የሚታወስ ነው፡፡

ትናንት በተካሄደው አቶ መለስ የቀብር ሥነ-ስርዓት ላይ የውጪ አገር መሪዎችና ተወካዮች በንግራቸው መግቢያ አቶ ሀይለማርያም ደሳለኝን “ተጠባባቂ ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር”እያሉ ቢጠሯቸውም የ ኢትዮጵያ ቴሌቪዥን ግን በተደጋጋሚ ፦”ምክትል ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር እና የውጪ ጉዳይ ሚኒስትር” ሲላቸው መዋሉ ይታወሳል።

የኢቲቪ ጋዜጠኞች ከ ሥነ-ስርዓቱ መጀመሪያ አንስቶ እስከመጨረሻው ድረስ የነበረውን ሁኔታ በቀጥታ ስርጭት እያስተላለፉ በሚነጋገሩበት ወቅት በተለያዩ ጊዚያት በትንሹ ወደ 20 ጊዜ የአቶ ሀይለማርያምን ስም የጠቀሱ ሲሆን፤ ከነዚህ አጋጣሚዎች በአንድኛቸው እንኳ ሳት ብሏቸው ፦”ተጠባባቂ ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር”ብለው አልጠሯቸውም።

በተለይ በመስቀል አደባባይ የነበረው ዝግጅት ተጠናቆ አስከሬኑ ወደ ቅድስት ሥላሴ ካቴድራል በሚያመራበት ጊዜ የኢቲቪ ጋዜጠኞች አድርጉ ተብለው የታዘዙ እስኪመስል ድረስ በተደጋጋሚ ፦”ምክትል ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትርና የውጭ ጉዳይ ሚኒስትር አቶ ሀይለማርያም ደሳለኝ” እያሉ በተከታታይ ሲናገሩ ተደምጠዋል።

የአቶ መለስ ቀብር በመጠናቀቁ፤ የአቶ ሀይለማርያም ሹመት መጽደቅ እና አለመጽደቁ በቀጣዮቹ ቀናት ይታወቃል ተብሎ ይጠበቃል።

Suyoum Mesfin may be the next PM of Ethiopia due his past experiences and Woyane trusts Seyoum more than Tewedros or Berhane. Suyoum will be free corruptions may not strong toward Eritrea but Adigrat people may push him to go hard after Shaebia because Adigrat are the most victim of Eritrea aggression.

Berhane sentiment is very close to Enderta, Tembien and Raya attitude toward Eritrea. Quietly he was not happy all the decision Meles made about Eritrea but he had to follow him due to his loyalty and high school friends.

Tewedros Adhanom may be the closest to Meles policy implementation specially towards Eritrea and Tigrayans will not trust him and he was not part of the front. He came because he is relative to Meles and he spent his life in Asmara and does not have much about Tigray or Ethiopia. I totally disapprove him to be the next PM of Ethiopia. R.I.P Abay Tigray

The selection of a new PM is not even on the agenda. There is no doubt that the main and probably the only agenda item is the selection of PM and the rest of the items are intended just to provide a cover. But they didn't want to announce it as an agenda item because there is something fishy going on. This is most likely because there is no consensus yet as to who would be selected to replace meles. By not announcing it as an agenda item, they are leaving themselves a leeway in case they fail to agree on a candidate. It is also intended to officially gauge on record where everybody is standing on this issue. Tomorrow's meeting might just be the first in a series of planned meetings until agreement is reached by acquiescing or arm-twisting. Surely there will be lots of wrangling, arm-twisting and backdoor dealings and counter-backdoordealings among the various TPLF factions with each side soliciting diplomatic support from the US, UK, and EU diplomats and power corridors in back offices in their capitals. In the meantime the puppet fake organizations (ANDM, OPDO and SEPDM) will be watching from the sidelines without having much to say and with no string to pull to influence the outcome. They will be told to wait until a winner faction emerges and then fall in line. It is certain that the drama will kick off officially tomorrow but what is uncertain is when and how it ends.

here we go the Ethiopian peroblem ruther than to clean thier mas they look toward Eritrea, pls lets clean first the weyane gang, in case of Eritrea always the Eritrean people he or she /in side country or out side even the Eritreans who fill to Ethiopia are peace love people, if the Ethiopian came for peace.
