TPLF‘s Control within EPRDF is Diminishing and Eventually It will Destruct itself

Postby Tazabi-1 » 08 Sep 2012, 16:56

TPLF’s bigwigs agreed on Hailemariam’s PM post out of necessity rather than conviction. The appointment of Hailemariam could be effectively utilized to please various groups.

• EPRDF could use it to boost that it has installed a functional constitution that leaves no room for succession feuds.
• It could also use Hailemaria’s appointment to make the point that in today’s Ethiopia, anyone regardless where he/she comes from, one could aspire to the highest post in the nation, thanks to a constitution that empowers nations and nationalities of the nation.
• And, no doubt, appointment of Hailemaria’s will have far reaching result in pleasing the American government. Which plays indispensable role in subsidizing and supporting him for the coming 3 years . He will even be a better "House Ni*ger" to uncle Sam than his predecessor.

Having mentioned few points on the significance of Hailemaria’s apppintment to EPRDF’s new lease on life, however, the main source of instability to EPRDF, in particular, and Ethiopia, in general, will be coming from TPLF itself.

The bone of contention among TPLF bigwigs is weather to reverse Meles’ decision to expel many TPLF founding members rather in a humiliating way. And, those expelled members are not pushovers; they are hardcore TPLFites with strong opinion on many issues. These extremists thrive on being anti- Eritrea. If those extreme elements of TPLF are back to lead TPLF and also play significant role in Ethiopian politics, there could be wars after wars against Eritrea which will immerse the region into a perpetual instability.

Of course, Hailemariam will also resist the return of these extremist elements of TPLF and Hailemariam would love to maintain a sustained support of untied states, it is imperative that he sticks with Bereket and et al for the coming three years.

Will TPLF hold itself together for the coming three years? Will the people that founded TPLF who were ones bounded together by principle but now by mere interest and greed lead TPLF with same determination? Every one could see the writings on the wall, TPLF is at the begging of the end of its glory in Ethiopian political landscape.

Now the question is will it seek national reconciliation and rectify its destructive past or continue -as the Chinese called it -engage itself in forward retreat ( wedefit sheshet) into total demise!!

The TPLF criminals and extremist will not accept Hailemariam Desalegn to lead the country. In the last TPLF meeting in Mekele (30 days – July and August), members agreed on that. Most of normal people / individuals in Tigray or Tigray people share with the same concerns.

Getachew Assefa, Head of National Intelligence and Security Service (NISS) and General Samora Yunis, Head of the National Defense Forces are behind the current problem; not delegating Hailemariam Desalegn to be next PM. Because they are warry about positions of Tigrains in the security, army and other public institutions. See more details here: http://www.medhin.org/new_articles/Tigr ... nation.pdf

The Oromo, Amara and Debut crime groups in the EPRDF are out of the game, but they support the TPLF generals on their dirty agendas without understanding. See details on viewtopic.php?f=2&t=40340

Tazabi,

I am simply offended by your use of the offensive "N" word "House N". Although you appear to smart it as a way of using a US defunct and racist slang, its connotation when you use it in connection with Hailemariam makes appear it an intentional but smartly applied slur on him personally. We know that southerners, especially Wolaita people were derogatively refrerred to as "Wolamo" which was used as an equivalent of slave. For the same reason, Oromos have always detested the use of "[deleted]" just because it was a quintessentially derogative slur akin to racism elsewhere. In as much as I wanted to dispassionately follw your analysis, your use of this hated slung (House N) clouded my objectivism to follow the analysis. Regardless of how smart it may appear, please refrain from using offensie terms; you are not merely slurring Hailemariam as a person, which is not needed even if you would be opposed to his view points. There should be a lot of words and phrases that will help you show dependecy status of Third world leaders and dictators with out resorting to colored and offensive language. Best regards.
