As I have tried to share with you the simmering dispute among TPLF bigwigs recently, now the dispute is starting to surface and it is out in open and the TPLF propaganda machinery is working full time against the Sebhat Nega group which is trying to “re-instate” founding members of TPLF who have been unceremoniously let go from the front during Meles’ reign.

The President of Tigray and TPLF vice-chairman Abay Wolde is spearheading the campaign against the proposed reconciliation between those who are at the helm of TPLF and those founding members who were expelled by Meles.

In his New Year message today to Tigrayan People, President of Tigray Region, Abay Woldu warned Tigrayans that TPLF will not accept the new attempt of some TPLF leadership for “unholy” reconciliation with those who were swept away from the front by the renewal program.

Abay's tone and words of his warning are signs that TPLF is deeply divided on this issue.

The main character behind the reconciliation is Sebhat Nega who wants to restore TPLF to its “glory” days.

Abay went so far as calling his own comrades "staunch enemies" of TPLF and he emphasized that there is not going to be any bargain on this issue . He pleaded with Tigrayans to rally behind TPLF to execute all plans mapped by the “great leader”!

Here we go power struggle ala TPLF!!

What a drama! At the end of the day, what ever the Americans say and what ever Susan Rice say will happne. no one has the bones NO to say o the master. so, all this drama is, just side show. One thing is for sure; TPLF is losing its grip in power.

It is very sad for you to rely on the Goverment of America to enforce what is going on in our country. I don't know what has happened to us. Most of us have become very passive. We just simply don't care anymore. It would have been good if the impetus was to come from within ourselves. My wish and advice would have been for the majority of Ethiopians to voice there concern locally and for the diaspora to come in unison and demand the Ethiopian Embassy to convey the message that the Govermwent in Ethiopia has to respect the people's voice. We should tell them that "Enough is Enough". Otherwise, the way the guy in the video clip talks, made it sound as if administering Ethiopia is like administering a private Company. WAKE UP FOLKS!!!!!!!!!!!

TPLF has few leaders who can draft a letter. These leaders can not read and write well both in Amharic and English. Non of them are competent or confident enough to hold any leadership position in the federal government. TPLF is turning into rubbish. Soon, it will be thrown into the dumpster.

It is not about reconcilation with the founders of tplf, it is about the other oppositions. If you remember Dr. Birhanu was talking about possible talk with gov. Abay said there is no way to talk with these people period. He was saying that tplf has been victorious because of clear visions and came up to declare over derg........so do you think that the victory over derg came without the founders of tplf?
