Drugs company pays record fine
American pharmaceuticals giant Pfizer has agreed to pay $2.3bn (£1.4bn) to settle charges related to the improper marketing of drugs in the US.
The company was accused of repeatedly trying to sell drugs for uses not approved by regulators.
The US associate attorney-general, Thomas Perelli, announced the settlement.
