Are You a Floor Sample Shopper?
I can’t count how many times I’ve asked a store clerk if something was on sale only to be disappointed with a regretful shake of the head. Displays may just be for window delight, but I always have the hope that at the end of the merchandising effort, they will want to unload their priceless inventory – for a price! Occasionally, there are floor sample sales, which have me rushing in quicker than a bargain hunter on Black Friday. I’ve gotten a few impressive deals – side tables, lamps, and even my perfect monogrammed bedding. Luck was on my side for that last item!
