Ethiopia: Teach your Kids How to be Entrepreneurs
Here is a special event for Ethiopian parents in the Washington DC Metro Area: Teach your Kids How to be Entrepreneurs.
Sure this is a tough time for all of us in this recession rut. However, the future does not stop today, we have to plan for tomorrow in anticipation of better days ahead. This applies a thousand times more for our children. The child you prepare today with the smallest grain of innovation will be the adult who will revolutionize the world with his/her innovative thinking. Thus, instead of letting your kids spend the weekend playing Play Station or Wii, bring them out to Sankofa so that they can learn about entrepreneurship in a fun filled atmosphere.
The program starts at 3:00 PM EST, and is open to all kids between the ages of 8 and 13. The aim is to teach the kids–through interactive games–about various aspects of running a business (inventory, fixed cost vs variable costs), profit margin, etc.
The event is free to the general public, so if you have a child or children that are between the ages of 8-13, we strongly encourage you to attend this event. If you don’t have any kids but have a sister, a cousin, a brother, or a friend who has kids that would be interested in this event, please forward this email on to them.
