Fiji: Colgate Palmolive assists health
Colgate Palmolive today donated 60 cases each containing 20 pieces of Pacific Laundry Bars 800g and another 50 cases containing 36 packets each of Protex Bath Soap 90g to the Ministry of Health as part of their assistance to areas affected by Tropical Cyclone Tomas.
The donation was handed over by Colgate Palmolive boss Mr Keith Shortall to the Deputy Secretary for Public Health Dr Joe Koroivueta.
Mr Shortall said it was a donation they hoped would help with healthy living in areas that were affected. Dr Koroivueta said the ministry was grateful for the donation, and that this would go a long way in helping facilitate good hygiene in cyclone affected areas.
The ministry had asked for the donation as part of its rehabilitation work. The soap will be distributed next week
