How to Automatically Follow People Who Follow Me on Twitter
Twitter has quickly established itself among the top player in the vast Web 2.0. Twitter allows you to follow anyone from the rich and famous to the broke and unknown. The trick for some is to get as many followers as they can, but is also important to keep that person in your “followers” list. A simple way to get on people’s good side is to follow them also.
By now you have probably realized how, almost inmediately after you start following someone, they start following you as well. How can it be done? Well, the answer is this is very easy to do, and as you may have already realized, it is completely automated. Best of all, is absolutely free.
What you need to do is head over to www.TweetLater.com and sign up for a free account (they offer Premier service if you wish to explore that possibility). Notice all the different tools the offer, for no charge at all, to help you manage your Twitter account.
Once you have signed up and confirmed your e-mail address, click on the “Accounts” button or the “Add Account” button to add a new Twitter account. This is another great feature of this website: the fact that you only need one TweetLater account to manage all you Twitter accounts (in case you have more than one).
Now you can start to automatically follow people who follow you. To do this follow the following instructions:
• Scroll down on the page and look for the “Auto Follow” section.
• Choose “Automatically follow people (new followers) who follow me from this point forward.” so that you also follow them.
• An additional option you have is to unfollow people if they unfollow you to help guard against spammers.
• Click Save at the bottom of the page and you’re set.
Additionally, you can send an automated message to people who follow you. To do this:
• Enter your username and password for your Twitter account.
• Scroll down the page and select the “Automatically send a welcome message to new followers” option.
• Check the box that it says “Auto Welcome”.
• Below that, you can input your automated message. Consider writing a short message rather than a long one, also remember to thank the person for following you, and remind this person the benefits of being your follower.
There you have it, you can now automatically follow people who follow you on Twitter. Now all you have to do is keep on twitting.
