Windows Vista Lite Ultimate
The Windows Vista Lite edition had many people happy for a while then they got tired of it. That is because the Window Vista Lite edition had one too many features removed to make it “Lite”. That one feature was the Windows Aero Glass feature. Many people only liked the Windows Vista OS because you could see through the taskbar. If you remove that then there is no point in using Windows Vista in many people’s minds. Fortunately, there is a savior edition for Windows Vista Lite. That edition is called the Windows Vista Lite Ultimate.
The Windows Vista Lite Ultimate has enough features removed to remain under 700 MB, but it still manages to keep the Window Aero Glass theme. That is probably the one feature that makes the Windows Vista Lite Ultimate one of the best editions yet. Because of all of the extra resources available, the Windows Aero Glass theme can run smoothly on slower system that would otherwise be impossible. As this edition of Windows Vista evolves is becomes closer and closer to the performance of Windows 7.
The Windows Vista Lite Ultimate edition has many other features removed like the Windows Media Center. In reality, no one ever used the Windows Media Center unless they are using it on a larger screen to display for a small party. You won’t miss the Windows Media Center too much in the Windows Vista Lite Ultimate edition since Windows Media Player will be doing the media playing.
The only bad thing about the Windows Vista Lite Ultimate is that many people are unable to update their version of Windows Vista Lite Ultimate. That is usually because Windows Update tries to update features that are no longer there. That can cause an error in the system that can render Windows Vista Lite Ultimate useless in some rare cases. The normal result of trying to run Windows Update on the Windows Vista Lite Ultimate edition is that some features may or may not work correctly after the update is done. That means if you use the Windows Vista Lite Ultimate edition then you will probably do better to avoid updating through Windows Update. If you want an update to the Windows Vista Lite Ultimate edition then you will have to find the updated torrent of the latest version of that edition of Windows Vista. Since there are so many seeders you should not have a problem find it at all.
