  1. Oba says:

I think the Former Ambassador to Ethiopia is biased and constantly betrayed by what he himself was saying. Dr Stanton clearly put shows the similarity with Darfur. On the other hand David (Former Ambassador) first said that it can not compared with Darfur. When he was asked why US is silent, he replied by saying that since the area is sealed off by “Agazi” it is not possible to know the situation. If it is sealed off and the extent of the genocide is not known why does he dare to say that it can not be compared with. Would he say the same if the Sudanese Government sealed of Darfur?

It is simply business as usual. It shows the double standard the US applies in international politics. Its policies and what David stood for had never been for justice and democracy. What ever seemed to serve the interests of US master minds, it is OK to drop another atomic bomb, use banned weapons, support and finance criminal governments that demolish cities, bombard civilians, bulldoze homes, and take lands of other countries or ring election or run a country in kingship.

It could be a folly hope but I do not know if Obama could think freely and start doing justice.

To begin with, I don’t believe the Former Ambassador is the right person to talk about Ogden/Ethiopian problem. Because he was well aware of the situation in Ethiopian all along throughout his serving years as an ambassador to Ethiopian. He did not say anything about the election problem, and the people who were killed as the result of the stolen election.
Last . Why is that the editor/producer chose to show a footage of Alshabab when the Ambassador were talking about ONLF? That is really misleading to the people who don’t know the differences between the Alshabab and ONLF.

Anonymous said It seems the former US ambassador to Ethiopia is trying to hide the fact when he refuse to accept the genocide which is taking place in Ogaden is comparible to the on which took place Dafur. Having said that, I do not blaim him because he is showing the true clour of the US.

The callers from UK and Ethiopia (named Micheal) are TPLF implants. We have seen this movie before when Meles himself called the VOA Talk-Africa show calling himself “Abebe”. Ridiculous people!
