    Dear Editor:
While it is good to see our leaders in action, it may be unwise to post pictures. It may jeopardize the security of the people shown in the picture. Remember woyane is still an ethno-fascist regime.

Elias…you are a great journalist and ER is very popular these days. i’ll reiterate what gemetchissa wrote and ask not to publish pictures of kinijit supporters back home. you know woyane will take advantage of every opportunity to harass and kill the people of ethiopia.

No wonder woaayne got mad and put them in custedy. These KINIJIT leaders would not allow comfortable sleep to the Melse and his gangs while they are out of jail. He will soon put them back to his stinky jail to get back his peace. Well done Beritukan you are one in million.

  11. wugat says:

Yes, this is what we would like to see: the resurrection of the Kinijit spirit in the Ethiopian populace. Woyane grinds its teeth, whenever it witnesses such popular support. No doubt it would take any measure to silence it including going to the level of pursuing those who appear in the pictures to detain and torture them. I think that is part of the struggle against an evil rule.

    Dear Editor,

I share the comment given by considerate citizens.. Weyanes are after each citizen suspected supporting of the cause of the people. I recommend you to collect pictures from all events back home as possible as you can and keep them in your file. The picture evidence might be used in the future against the TPLF gangs. Because i am sure TPLF people will never stop harassing and murdering CUD supporters. Hence the pictures of individual supporters could be used as evidence.

  15. Gosaye says:

    Thanks Elias,

But I am not afraid of posting the pictures. It will not make a difference. Woyane is any way following them and will have its own pictures. So posting it on this site will not crate any problem. Any way woyane will have from its sources. Don’t forget that woyane is following them any where, even while they were in the US.

Rather, posting the pictures will encourage other supporters and our people’s emotional revival!

Thanks a million Elias and keep it up bro!!!

  21. nesanet says:

Why don’t you want to have the pictures posted? Is it really for the safety of the Kinjit supporters? You should be very naive if you think woyane doesn’t have its own “joro tebbis or selays” and gets its info from the web. I hope you do not have a hidden agenda like concealing from the public what the true leaders of Kinjit are doing and how much support they are getting back home. Pictures speak louder than words. You can see the contrast between what the defunct Hailu and clique are doing and the struggle of the genuine leaders of Kinjit led by our heroine Birtukan. God bless them and help all Ethiopians who are struggling despite the danger to their lives.

    Thanks for sharing the pictures.
Please allow me to express my concern as well.
Despite its role in helping to prove the movement. It might also be a tool that could harm the rural men and women.
Those who are on the front line of the movement are known to every one,
But I feel that posting such pictures publicly might make some of the rural activists of the party a target of the governement. I mean as long as the nation leader’s attitude is not conducive to such movement.
    thank you again

  25. Surafel says:

Thanks Elias, you did a wonderful job by posting these pictures! This is what I call a picture is worth a million. It is something to boast about Kinijit the spirit, but to see it etched on the faces of our people is quite an experience.

I am appreciative of those that are fearful of exposing the supporters to Agazi harassment by posting these photos. Trust me, these people know that some TPLF agent is watching each and every one of their moves and they just plain don’t care and that’s what scares TPLF the most. You see, Woyanie’s biggest tool in manipulating our people has been to induce fear through intimidation and harassment and now that fear is gone, TPLF is scared to death. Meles is plainly at his wits end because each and every means of subjugation has been tried and failed because Ethiopians in Ethiopia are not afraid of TPLF anymore.

I wish the same could be said about Ethiopians in the Diaspora, thousands of miles away from Ethiopia and beyond the reach of Agazi, with the exception of those in Kenya and the Sudan. There are thousands and thousands of us in Europe, North America and Australia, who are scared of showing our faces in protest rallies, opposition meetings and demonstrations because of a selfish interest like a house, a business and/or a land we own in Ethiopia and dealings we have with the killer regime in Addis. Some of us are afraid to get involved for fear of being denied a visa for an enjoyable vacation for ourselves and families. I totally agree that Ethiopians who have the means should invest in Ethiopia and benefit themselves and the country. However if investing in Ethiopia is, giving Woyanie a handy tool to manipulate and blackmail us, then we should STOP investing in Ethiopia until our people are free.
