June 20th, 2007 |  |  9 Comments

The Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church’s (EOTC) Holy Synod has called on the people of Ethiopia to stay away from any millennium celebration unless the elected leaders of Ethiopia are released from prison.

The Holy Synod warned the Woyanne regime that its decision to harm and do injustice against the elected representatives of the people of Ethiopia will have grave consequences.

It is one of the most imprtant duties of EOTC to condemn the opressor government and to stand firmly
by the side of Ethiopian people.
It is also necessary to participate the Musilem
    spiritual leades .
It is time to unite for Musilem leaders.

Thank you for organizing this website.

This is arguably the best way to respond to unwanted government! No celebration unless they free our leaders. It is vitally important for all Ethiopians to stick together regardless religions or tribes; we must show our unity at such difficult times.

Say No Celebration, No Millennium unless they free our leaders! May god be with you all.

    God Bless Ethiopia!

  9. Warso says:

One of the great achivement which I have ever seen in my life in which our spiritual leaders challenge the so called government which doesn’t care about the majority of people but few and we , all ethiopians, should support the decisions and make sure that all political prisoners should set free without any pre conditions. God bless Ethiopia.
