WASHINGTON (AP) – The United States says an American citizen was killed in a minibus explosion Tuesday in downtown Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
State Department spokesman Sean McCormack says officials are investigating and working to notify the family. He provided no other details Wednesday.
There were few other details about the blast, but a spokesman for the Ethiopian foreign affairs ministry said he had heard reports of fatalities.

American Embassy need to make the name of the victim, also invite CIA/FBI into the equation for better investigations.

Since we know there are so many anti Wayane individuals in parlament itself as well as Kinijit members who harm the repitition of the state more than American Ethiopian there in Addis Abeba I do not think the bomb targeted this individual. I think it is a work the Somalis ICU or ONLF who vowed some time back to take terror into the hert of Addis Abeba. It is possible they planted a remort controled bomb or time bomb just on any taxi that was passing by. Taxi owners must know where they take their taxi for gas or for fixing. The government must be insane to do such thing specially near tourist areas.
