The unity of Ethiopians from all walks of life, has once again, demonstrated its discipline and determination to face off delegates of one of the most brutal regimes in Africa. The politically motivated and hastily organized trip and meeting by the delegates with the Ethiopian Diaspora community in Washington DC, Howard University, woke up a sleeping giant – and indeed the giant gave them what they deserved.
This is not the first time the brave and gallant Ethiopian protesters have stood for justice, human rights, and respect for the rule of law. Something special about yesterday’s demonstration was that the unity among its diverse ethnic groups, the zeal and the unwavering determination of the Ethiopian youth for social justice, and the shock and awe that it gave to the delegates.
The Woyanne regime’s rent-a-crowd, and rent-a-thug policy did not work to deter the voices of the demonstrators, who were chanting and shouting in unison that reverberated over “Howard Square”. At the end of the day, the auditorium inside Howard University, the delegates, and their selfish opportunists were not able to sustain the thunderous voices and rants of justices that were echoing. Well, the result was that the officials of Howard and Police had to cancel the meeting.
During the last few weeks, the Woyanne regime has been giving us agenda after agenda in such a short period of time. At one time they engaged everybody by raising the issue of Eritrea. Meles was openly discussing about the overthrowing of his onetime patrons in Eritrea, and then he shifted gears and came up with building a Mega Dam over the Nile River – and to facilitate the construction, the brutal regime came up with fund raising through issuance of government bonds.
It is no-brainer why the regime in Addis is doing all these things at this crucial moment, and in a very hasty way. Ethiopians, especially the youth, have been following the political tsunami that has engulfed North Africa and the Middle East with interest and enthusiasm. The conditions that forced the youth in Tunisia and Egypt to overthrow their dictatorial leaders were not worst compared to what Ethiopians are facing day in and day out. The unemployment rate is beyond description; the inflation rate could not be controlled; the religious and inter and intra-ethnic conflicts due to the regime’s policy of divide and rule is endangering the very existence of the country; the corruption and nepotism are unprecedented; the economic condition of the country is driven by charity and western aid donors, despite Ethiopia’s abundant natural resources; the people get beaten and thrown to jail for voicing their concern; the massacre of innocent citizens of Gambela, Oromo, Ogadeni, Amhara, and etc by the Agazi kill squad continues as we speak.
It is because of all these injustices that the Ethiopian people are saying enough is enough – BEKA! GAYE! YIAKEL! BASS! and have been preparing for a grand demonstrations in Ethiopia. The regime knows full well that there is no stopping in the concerted voices of the people who have suffered for the last twenty years under its brutal yoke.
The first shock and awe of the Woyanne regime was in the election of 2005. The interahamwe rhetoric and the regime’s rent-a-crowd moment, before the eve of the election, gave it a false hope of winning Addis. Well, everybody knows what the results were in Addis – the false crowds did not vote for the regime, and the whole parliamentarian seats went to the opposition. To frustrate the otherwise peaceful election, the regime unleashed its notorious rent-a-thug policy to create chaos and blame the opposition party.
I would like to congratulate all the organizers of the peaceful protesters all over the US and Canada for a job well done. There is no doubt in my mind that Woyanne came to our turf to test us and we will show them again in our beloved Ethiopia.

I have seen Woyane Tags linning up in CVS pharmacy in AlexandrIA for medication to their blood preasure. To be exact, Ato Hailemariam Desalegn has taken 30days of blood preasure medication from the CVS that I work. I wish I could say no to sell for them, but I couldn’t . But, what I understood is that these idiot tugs have been hit hard by Ehtiopians who reside in N. America that cause thier BP to rise up beyond its level. I wish they all wish die.

Yes it is good that they visite Ethiopia and get deliberate bribes from the human butchring tigrian elites but they also need to be told that tghe government is a brutal dictator who have been in power for the last 20 years and enriching itself while over 90% of ethiopians were reduced to abject poverty and wretched human living on international handouts from year to year.
If you send your kids with lots of dollar bills to Ethiopia and show them only the artifcial glitterings of Wayane hotels, status buildings and resort areas while preventing them from seeing and vising street children, slum dwellers, and impoverished hungry rural and urban Ethiopians amounting to over 90%, please don’t ask us to pamper dictator lovers.
Tell them the truth, raise their consciousness and let them choose their own road to improve the fate of humanities and communities or indulge in denials and hedonism.
Remember that it was the Tunisian and Egyptian youths who did not at all regard dictators as equals but as inhuman brutals, got together calling a spade a spade, I mean brutal dictators as brutal dictators and in unity within diversity chased them digracefully from power.
You are propagating, softening and leveling the rough ground for brutal Wayane dictatorship to freely drive their expensive cars and tracks among the domestic and diaspora Ethiopian communities while directly shooting and killing the Ethiopian youths and children peacefully demonistrating for their rights just like in the USA where the children you are talking about live and enjoy life.
Why should the tyranical Wayane dictatorship needs to have an extra and extended privilege of making itse propaganda warfar presentations while 99% of Ethiopians are forbiden against threat of death to air their views on their own personal and communal affairs in their own country Ethiopia?

After losing a heavy defeat in North America, Woyanes and its disciples are planning to stage a city hall meeting in Frankfurt, Germany.
On the 16th of April at the university hall for “all people”. And on Sunday on the 17 of April at the consulate office Only for “Oromos”. says the announcement.

Woyane is applying its division along ethnic line in the Diaspora. So Alemayehu Atomsa is going to make a propaganda speech for Oromos. Those brothers and sisters should humiliate Alemayehu Atomsa, who is compromising the right and diginity of Oromo people in Ethiopia.

The University in Frankfurt- Johan Goethe University has has pulled back the submitting of its meeting hall for Woyane thugs, because Ethiopians had persuaded the Uni not to permit for inhuman and Anti democratic messengers in the campus of such a famous institution.
Woyanes were forced to look for another place to conduct their rubbish demagogy.
Now, they are under pressure that they have to issue another invitation flyer.
What they are now saying/lying : They needed bigger hall to conduct their propaganda work. This is only hiding the truth. Details will be published by activists soon. This piece is only to inform our compatriots in North America.
The number of protesters are higher than supporters of the regimes. The supporters of the regime will be outnumbered.
The consulate in Frankfurt is filled with 6 Tigres,1 Oromo(former Derg cadre) and 1 German woman. With this composition of people it is hard to regard it as Ethiopian consulate. It is Tplf’s consulate. Tplf has extended its power not only in Ethiopia, but also in different corner of the world. The first and foremost positions are held by Tigres. I wonder why some Tigres do not denounce this partiality and tribal hegemony. Why were they crying in the past that they were for equality and freedom. Was it their goal just to snatch power and perpetuate their power over another 80 million people? It is a great shame and may result in hatred with uprising.
Unless we change the status quo of the regime soon, we are gonna lose our nationhood.

It is being reported that there is a budding uprising by the students at the university in Addis Ababa and we have to actively help them make it a united, networked common project for it to spread and engulf the dictatorship…
