London remains Woyanne-free zone (photos)

Update:

* Ethiopian patriots chased Woyannes out of the Imperial College in London
* London Police arrested one Woyanne thug who attacked ESAT cameraman

Brave Ethiopians in London deliver big time today. They turned out in large numbers and stopped the Woyanne meeting that was planned to be held at the Imperial College. The police had no choice but to tell the Woyanne thugs to leave. They went to their hiding place, the embassy, humiliated and defeated. London is indeed a Woyanne Free Zone.

The police seem to outnumber the meeting participants.

  2. #45,
I kind of agree with you, let’s remain in our own affair at least for the time being. That’s what I thought.Specially I didn’t like the idea of “Gadafi”,”mubarak”…posters on our demos.

  3. Well done Londoners. Good for you Ethiopians.
As for those who are commenting on Eritrea, PIA or Shaebia downfall, let the real Eritreans talk about it. Shaebia and PIA are here to remain. Those Eritreans who are suffering in the Sahara desert are economic refugees not political refugees.
Besides this website (ethiopianreview) is strictly ethiopian. We would rather give our support when necessary.

  4. Hey mr elias first practice democracy yourself before seeking to have one from others by providing free speech instead of denying others to express their view or dedicat your web site to your supporters only (members only page)

  5. bravo london, indeed london is a weyane free zone as london ethiopian showed many times thier outrageous act against weyane evil elements. Thanks london for making us very proud!

  6. When I am about to give up, Ethiopians of this brand come and wake me up. Thank you Ethiopians in London. Thank You. I am overwhelmed with emotions right now. I love you all. Ethiopia will survive the woyane onslaught.

  7. Eritrawi #2
    Londoner #20
I just wonder if you two are really Eritreans because if you really were, then you should have a lot to worry about Eritrea which is going downhill eversince the dictator initiated a devastating war that resulted in hugee loss of lives and destruction of incalculable amount of property.
Our little nation and once proud people are not lucky enough to be ruled by pschopatic dictator who betrayed the people who adored him most, turning their hopes into a nightmare. Our people have been through all kinds of atrocities committed by the shiftas who claim to be our own.The mistreatment of our people by the shiftas is far worse than all its predecessors combined which is probably equivalent to Giz-at Turkey.
Today Eritrea is a nation where 90% of its youth pinned down in a fox holes for more than 15 years where there is no enemy in sight.
-Its a nation where there is no functional parliament, free press, civic associations and even a vice president.
-Its the only nation where its youth flee to neighbouring countries in a record high neven seen before.I am sure you have heard whats
happening to our youth in the Sahara,Sinai and the deep sea.325 eritreans were drowned in the deep sea almost a week ago and one of the victims was a mother with her 4 children.’ISN’T IT SAD?’
-Its a nation where its imprisoned citizens are left to rot.A case in point, parliamenterians, ministers, sinior commanders, journalists were jailed in 2001 and left to rot eversince. Most of them died without making it to the doorsteps of the court.
-Its a nation where its citizens are subjected to imprisonment without the due process of the law, arbitrary killings, rape and worse disappearances the order of the day.
-Its the only nation on earth that auctions its gold resources at a throw away price ie 10%.(No wonder all these mine companies are flocking to Asmara)
To sum it up,the crimes of the shiftas are too many and too long to list.
We Eritreans have all these on our plate to deal with today and its a our historical responsibilities to address them before we are disappeared as a nation and people off the map.
In my humble opinion,Ethiopia and its people are in a much better position today than ever before and I believe Ethiopians can take care of their issuse in their own.Your help in demonizing their gov’t and your interference in their affair is not appreciated.Your help though,is much needed NOW in saving Eritrea before it disappears in front of our eyes.
For the record,by now you should know that Eritreans are well aware of who their enemy is.Its neither the Ethiopian gov’t nor its people but the home grown terrorists in Asmara.
    Death to the dictators,
Democracy and Justice will prevail in Eritrea,

  8. Dear All: The main reason for Melless & Co’s apprehension
Recently, Melless and his government have made it public that they have changed their policy on Eritrea. I was wondering why they were talking too much about Eritrea while Eritrea is not planning to attack them. Now we know why. It is anxiety. It seems that they have gathered some intelligence that some Ethiopians were going to act against them. It is obvious that some activist Ethiopians are expressing their anger in more bolder actions in Ethiopia and abroad. And despite Melless’s claim that the Ethiopian economy is growing (which could be true in terms of quantity), did not make the people’s standard of living any better yet. Melless understands that the rise of consumer prices could lead to a popular uprising very easily. He must have also taken note of that the U.S., Melless’s and Hosni Mubarek’s common backer, could betray Melless as it betrayed Mubarek, if and when the people’s uprising gets uncontrolablly stronger. If the U.S. thinks supporting Melless is likely to be against its interests, it would be compelled to discard Melless away. Melless & Co must be threatened by the storm they might be anticipating. What needs to be clearly understood is that Ethiopian activists may not further their current successes against Melless and Co. without putting greater pressure on the U.S.

  9. 45, There is no problem condeming other dictators while protesting against your own..Human right has no boarder…GO BEYOND BOARDERS..when it come defend human right..I’ll go for Libyans, ERITREANS, ETHIOPIANS, EGYPTIANS, OR YEMENIANS even for Chinese disedents..Human right is universal

  10. Well done Londoners… wish you all the success not only in London or US but also in Ethiopia. Some comments on those who try to entangle two different issues: Eritirean issue is for eritreans to handle. we don’t need to post anything related to eritrea over here. Leave us alone, we trying to rebuild our country and we don’t need anything to be posted over here.

  11. let us hold hand in hand for a blessed idea and do what we can to what this generation want from us. we can’t be and we shouldn’t have the moral to talk about ethiopins with out contributing any thing towards its fight against poverty. the same old faces more interested about opposing than the discussing the blessed ideas. if they want to protest the embassy is their 24/7.
