We are sad to report that popular Ethiopian singer Yirga Dubale has passed away yesterday at the age of 81. The legendary musician has been entertaining Ethiopians for the past 6 decades. He is well known for his traditional and patriotic songs. The following is one of his most popular songs.

  3. Very sad indeed.Ethiopians are going to heaven. Bad guys and House negros for foreigners are occupying ethiopia resources. The spirit of ethiopia is slowly changing.ethiopia is becoming a simple vassal state for The West, china indians, turkey and Arabs.In our generation it is a shame to be ethiopian. In Addis, there are already entertainment places allowed only for Ferenjis.

Those of us who live outside of Ethiopia can relate to this song in one way or another. once again, I’m suspicious of the killer machine woyanes and hope that our well known talented is not murdered by the hands of the blood-thirsty leboch woyanes. Rest in peace our dear friend, and thank you for bringing smile and joy in our lives. You will be missed terribly and will never be forgotten.

  24. WOW WHAT A SAD KNEWS, I ‘M REALY SORRY. I KNEW GASH YERGA LEAVING IN HIS HOME ,RENTING A ROOM WITH HIM. HE WAS NOT ONLY A BLEESED ARTIST BUT HE WAS A GREAT FATHER AND A LOVING AND RESPECTING HUSBAND TO HIS WIFE, FORETHAT MATTER I NEVER SAW A MAN RESPECTING HIS WIFE LIKE GASH YIRGA, HE USED TO CALL HER ‘TATA ENAT’. THE WORKS OF GASH YIRGA ARE EVER LASTING ENDEED, MAY HE REST IN PEACE.

    YES, NO WORDS CAN EXPRESS GASH YERGA. HE WAS A TEACHER , A SINGER AND A FATHER. HAS ANY BODY HAS PASSED BY HIS HOME DURING THE ESTER FASTING SEASON AND LISTON HIS SONG AND THANKS TO GOD.HARD TO COMMENT EXCEPT SAYING HAVING THAT CHANCE WAS A BLESSING.
