Ethnic cleansing of Amharas (shocking photo)

The Woyanne junta has intensified its ethnic cleansing campaign against the Amhara ethnic group in southern Ethiopia. So far, over 78,000 people, including children, women, and the elderly have been evicted after every thing they owned was confiscated, as reported by Germany Radio and other media. The following are photos of some of the evicted Ethiopians of Amhara ethnic group. The only way to stop such crime against humanity is to wage an all out war on the fascist Woyanne junta with what ever means available. The least one can do is to stop referring to this criminal organization as “Ethiopian government,” and the fascist dictator as “Ethiopian prime minister.”

The only crime of these innocent children is to be born from Amhara ethnic group. How can any one who calls him/herself Ethiopian continue to stay silent in the face of such atrocity?

  1. Males is a very keen and want to halt the Amhara movement by putting poeiple of Ethiopia aginst Amhara. But the problem is Amharas have not changed their behavior much. If wayan turns up and down the Amhara’s history in the Ethiopian memory, they can rulle Ethiopia very easly another 50yrears but many people have not figured that out yet. Here we are in the 21rst centure and Amhara want take over from Meles so that they can maintaine their hegemonic status in Ethiopia. I think this will create blood shade like Ruwanda if Amhara attempts to do so. Wayane don’t want Amharas to change their behevior because they can use as scare tachtics aginst Ethiopaina people. My brothers and sisters sorry for your helplesness. But this is the only time Amhara have been treated in Ethiopia like this, now we can see how other feel for the past hundred years under Amhara repression. It is too bad to see this, it is very shaking. During Wallo femine, Hailesellase had accumulated 10bilion dollars in the Sweez bank while 1million people died of hanger in Ethiopia? who are we? Are we just humans or not? that is why many Ethiopans don’t have mercy for others becaus this is thieir nature that inherited from their parents, too bad. Solution i don’t see any solution at this time but if we all have wilingness to work with others, possible others wise not.

You are full of garbage or s… you fail in ethnic politics just the way Weyane wanted you to be. you don’t even know your history. my father worked for an Oromo feudal in Wellega. There are so many Amahra heroes who fought for democracy and to get rid of feudalism in Ethiopia. If you remember during the Derg Amaharas were also targets in the name of feudalism, and now Amharas are the targets under TPLF.
But history is making in unexpected way in Ethiopia today. The Oromos and other Ethiopians are together. Don’t forget there are Amharas and Oromos working with the dictators now. so don’t fall in a trap of stupidity. The time now is to fight for democracy and the rule of law in Ethiopia.
Viva to all Ethiopians, Victory to Oromos, Amharas, Tigres, Somalis, Gurages and all who fight for freedom.

You are one brainwashed fool! Everything you have said is full of lies. No leader in Ethiopian history had ever sold his/her country to foreigners, been as cruel, brutal, looter, torturer and killer as TPLF regime, even the other bloodsucker Mengestu was better than the TPLF regime. If it were possible, Ethiopians would give everything to bring the mixed ethnic Ethiopian, Haileselassie back than being under the tplf thugs.

  2. [Democracy for my country says],

You are a scary weyane who are here to cast aspersion, mind your business and stand like a man instead of crying foul at Amharas for no reason reason. Take this to your heart; we will fight for our survival, simple as that. If you label these hegemonic aspirations so be it. Where is your evidence that Haileselasse deposited $ 10 Billion dollars? It was fifty million. No Ethiopian ever owes then, anything close to Billion dollars. Rather it is the TPLF officials by auctioning our country, with their collaborators, who are fast becoming billioners.Look how skillful and masterful beggars they are! They receive their yearly hand out from their international handlers between 4-3 billions ,if this is not enough they constantly solicit from Ethiopian professional who reside oversees, in the name of Nile dam development, or Hospital investment.

Weyanes are busy collecting the wealth of the nation in to their private garner. Mark my word, they will not have the luxury to enjoy what they have amassed. No matter where they store their wealth, they will leave their belongings behind. There is a day of reckoning for every foul creature, and weyanes are not exception to this.Just look around and see who is on the side of weyane leders, none.

  3. When the TPLF deported around 75,000 Eritreans by looting their life times hard earned savings and assets no Ethiopian opposed it. Now it is the Amharas turn, and one day it will be the Tigreans turn, it will be bad then, I can feel it – it will be a dsaster (I feel sorry for the tigreans).

  4. How deplorable, and painful it is to be forcefully evicted from their own communities and the environment they were born and grow up. Where else do they want the 78 thousand proud and hard working families have to go? Such a vicious action taken by this ruffian, money hungry glutton, corrupt, government has become a laughing stock around the world. But the imbecile, illiterate, government takes it as a compliment to sell the land to foreign investors, and see the profit money rolling to their individual offshore bank accounts. Then for how long do Ethiopians have to endure such maltreatment by this barbaric regime? I am listening and reading people already started self immolation as a protest to this low down no good government.

I have a solution for all those who have been under the yoke of this bullish, timid, dictator who is afraid of his own shadow, and hides himself under his mom’s skirt at the sound of hearing a gun shot. If you want to maximize your respectability as a citizen and minimize, eviction, humiliation, and torture by his hit squads, stop sacrificing yourself without retaliating in kind to your noble causes. The only way to teach a brutal blood thirsty dictator is to take your own action, eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth as a protest to his unabridged cruelty. So far we heard two gentlemen have already sacrificed their lives ( setting themselves on fire) for the betterment of the rest of Ethiopians.

Had those compassionate and brave men have taken along with them some of the dictator’s henchmen,it will send a strong message to think twice before, evicting, beating, killing, imprisoning, and expelling innocent people.
God bless Ethiopia and those who suffer under the yoke of tyranny

  5. This just reminds me of woyane police coming to our house in Addis in 1999 and rounding all of my family and deported us to a country that I never knew of, a country that my father was born in. and at the time I remember asking the woyane police office WHY???? and his answer was that we have Eritrean origin and we should leave Addis the place that I was born and raised in and loved.
My sympathy to the Amharas who are facing the same situation now in Ethiopia. woyane started with Eritreans, but I knew that they will never stop, but continue its hate filled persecution of people of different tribe from theirs. and believe me they will never stop with the ogadenians, eritreans, gamebela, olf, and now amhara. they will continue until they go all the way and divide and persecute even their own tigrayan tribe, and that will be the end.
by the way that is how evil dictators work, that is how Hitler did it and Meles is doing the same.
My prayer goes to those displaced people. God bless

  6. WHAT SHOCKING PHOTO ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?LIAR!

you need to clean the eye that preventing you from seen. better yet clean you conscience..ops you are blind and have no conscience,i feel very sorry for you………

  7. I can not believe this divide and rule is fantastically working for this guy. I am not an Amhara, what is happening to Amhara today can happen to anyone tomorrow. It is shame on all of us, we let him go with this kind of crime. When he is attacking amharas, he is trying to be nice to oromos, and when he wants to attack oromos he he nice to amharas (punish one at a time.) We took it as a normal thing and he is loughing at us. When 500+ oromo students(including myself) kicked out from a single university, only oromos cried. Now only amharas are crying. I believe, if for the sake of freedom amharas and oromos united , the will be the begging of dowfall of tplf, no need to fight. Lets stand together, we will win.

  8. I think it blows me away at the end of the day what has happened to Ethiopia. It also blows me away when I read Eritrean comments about the state of Ethiopia. Everything held constant, you have two leaders, Meles and Isaias who came out victorious from the Derg and gained there two respective countries. From then on their relationship fell apart and both began to fight each other with the lives of ordinary people. I will not ignore that there has been ethnic disenfranchisement of certain peoples in Ethiopia but it is important to have a clear long run outlook of Ethiopia rather be blinded by 40 years of corrupt dictatorship. The ethnocentrism that has created the divide within the borders is nothing more propaganda scheme by the government to break down the will of the people in order to divide and conquer much more easily. What is going on is incredibly petty. Ethiopia has always been a strong country that did not fall into the pitfalls that the rest of Africa has fallen into. Let me be clear, nationalism is what is needed and it is not too late. I have to say it is our darkest hour. The church has effectively fallen apart along with the justice system and the faith in our country us being tested but this what separates Ethiopia from the rest. Your vote might now be counted but they cannot take away your pride of being Ethiopian. A strong unified voice of being Ethiopian can always overcome. No opposition leader can take that unity and violate it with their agenda. It would effectively cripple the efforts of the current government.

I have to say that I am disappointed in the views of some who criticize those who are a part of the diaspora. I think that the critics alot of times are hypocrites. I can understand wanting to stand with the country and never losing ground in the struggle but I can also understand wanting to fend for your family and ensuring their safety. I think the critics will never truly recognize what the diaspora does in terms of being citizens of countries like the US and the UK where they have the right to petition there legislators to take a serious look and work as a check to the tyrannical acts of the gov’t. Not to mention the ability and the action of the diaspora to provide private aid to the people through schools, food, etc. I cannot speak for all of the diaspora but I can say that there are a great many who devote there lives to their people. In addition, to the Eritrean commentators who “pity” Ethiopia and our diaspora. Let me ask you a question…..you worked so hard to get your own country and to administer your own lands claiming that this would end the disenfranchising of your people, so why are there so many Eritreans abroad? There should be no reason. It is hilarious to me to think a country so young already has given its people reason to leave. Is it not what you thought it was going to be like? Is the grass not greener on the other side? You will never answer these questions because it would involve the admission of guilt and you are too proud for that. For this reason I in fact pity you all and berate you leaders for not being willing to think about the welfare of their followers and failing to realize the lack of resources to run a stable country. Let this be a lesson to the people of the Ogaden and the OLF. Ethiopia divided will never even be close to the strength of a unified country. The grass is not greener on the other side. Please believe it.

What is missing is the voice of the young who can see past the tunnel vision of our fathers and mothers who cannot see past what they have come to know as the status quo. I personally have dealt with the backwards ways of Ethiopians who still live in the past and do not understand the problems with their ways. I have grown up around the opposition to the Woyane and I have been to the conferences and read the books. I hear the rhetoric. I grew up orthodox church and seen its utter corruption even at the local level. I know so many young Ethiopians who have no idea what is going on their country. It is all bullshit. Our time is now. I think most of the academics and opposition leaders sit around and talk amongst themselves and go back home without any action. We do not a man with 4 degrees to tell us that the people are tired of division and a lack of freedom. Unity is strength and strength is needed.

I am Amhara and my family proudly fought against the Italians. I have family who fought in the Derg’s army but mostly family that were victims of it. I have grown up with people who ran for parliament and went to jail over it. I have family who are from Massawa, Wollo, and Illubabor. I’ve lived in Addis and in Gore. I grew up in the diaspora and now I sit here in university. I draw from all of this to give my opinion. I mean no malice with it but I hope that we can have much more civil dialogue.

    REMEMBER?

“First They Came for the Jews”
    By Pastor Niemoller

First they came for the Jews and I did not speak out because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for the Communists and I did not speak out because I was not a Communist.

Then they came for the trade unionists and I did not speak out because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak out for me.

Now, just replace the words Jews = Eritrea
    Communists = Oromo
    trade unionists = Ogaden
    Me = Amhara
Hopefully the above poem will give you some clearer picture than blaming leaders. Because leaders come and go, but the problem still persists. It is time to look inward and change.

PS, We, Eritreans know who we are, where we have been, where we are, and where we are going. Perseverance and endurance are Eritrean trade mark and with God we know that we would prevail against all evil schemes and hurdles placed before us.

  10. Join our mass protest against the scheduled TPLF Fundraising Soccer Tournament in Washington D.C. this summer July 1st – July 7th at RFK stadium. TPLF has been ethnic cleansing, massacring, and church burning in Ethiopia to sell our land to Arabs and Indians for the past 20 years. FIGHT for OUR LAND and FREEDOM!!! Don’t sit and watch while TPLF tyrants and servants celebrate in D.C.

  11. Ir is Heartbreaking looking at those innocent precious children’s faces and the despair on the faces of the parents. These kinds of senseless human cruelty only comes from Satan himself. I also feel sorry for the people whose hearts are filled with so much hate. I wonder, if these hateful people believe in the Merciful loving God and still pray and turn around and commit human miseries like this! What a human tragedy!
