Ethiopian artists in Washington DC honor Teddy Afro

December 22nd, 2008 |  |  4 Comments

Several Ethiopians artists came together on Sunday afternoon to organize a special show honoring Teddy Afro who is currently languishing in jail after being convicted of trumped up charges by the dictatorial regime in Ethiopia.

Hundreds of Ethiopians who reside in the Washington DC area have attended the event that was held at the Washington Marriott. The artists themselves covered the expense to organize the show. [Photo by Tewodros Mekebeb]

It is sad a freedom fighter denies the freedom of others. I am sure those started the TPLF struggle had a good purpose in mind when they started it but at last only the killers and the corrupts triumphed. SAD!!!!!!!!!!
