EPPF Washington DC chapter launched

January 13th, 2009 |  |  3 Comments

The Washington DC Metropolitan Area chapter of Ethiopian People’s Patriotic Front (EPPF) has been officially launched on January 11, 2009.

While getting itself organized, the chapter has already made substantial contributions to the Front to be used for humanitarian needs, such as purchasing medicines and supporting the families of the freedom fighters.

The EPPF Washington DC chapter’s primary task is to mobilize Ethiopians in Washington DC, Virginia and Maryland to support the patriotic front in its effort to defend the people of Ethiopia against the brutal regime of the Tigrean People Liberation Front (Woyanne).

More information about EPPF’s activities can be found at the organization’s official web site: www.eppfonline.org

  1. George says:

It is a very important step. It is about time, the EPPF foreign mission open chapters and introduce the front and it’s mission specially in areas where the Ethiopian diaspora is heavily populated. Many Ethiopians are still skeptical about EPPF due to lack enough information about the front. Some even never heard the existence of the front, and some have a negative view about it because of misinformation and a negative campaign by enemy sympathizers.

George, Stop hoodwinking. Yemiaderg le’Enatu Aynegr. Keep your little pieces to your self and do what you got to do. The so called Weyannes never revealed to their enemies what action they going take when they marched to Dedebit, the actions just started to reveal themselves until the “dooms’ day”.
