Ethiopia’s tribalist regime and South Africa sign defense agreement

February 13th, 2009 |  |  8 Comments

ADDIS ABABA (SAPA) – The defense ministers of South Africa and Ethiopia’s tribalist dictatorship signed a memorandum of understanding in Addis Ababa on Friday, South Africa’s defense spokesman Sam Mkhwanazi said. [The current South Africa regime is as full of scumbags as the apartheid regime.]

Defense Minister Charles Nqakula and his Ethiopian counterpart Arto Siraj Fegesa agreed that both countries would work towards developing procedures for military co-operation including the exchange and training of military personnel, instructors and observers and promoting technical co-operation.

Co-operating in the field of military medical services, knowledge and training would also be on the agenda.

The agreement was motivated by their commitment to support peace efforts on the continent under the auspices of the African Union, which has its headquarters in the northern African country.

Nqakula said co-operation between the two countries would benefit their respective populations who were “yearning for peace, stability and development on the African continent”.

This was in line with Freedom Charter principles that there should be peace and friendship on the African continent and beyond, said Mkhwanazi, relaying the essence of the meeting by telephone.

The agreement between the militaries of the two countries would serve as a springboard to ensure that they do whatever is necessary to ensure that conflict is eradicated on the African continent, added Mkhwanazi.

    Elias,

Please have alook this news on the BBC “Annan hints at ICC Kenyan trial”. I think it is time for Ethiopians in the diaspora to do the same and bring the woyane officials that killed 200 innocent civilians in 2005 to ICC. What do you think? You have to do more as usuall with this regard.

Did Mandela and the rest remember who trained him how to shoot gun and first time he felt as man. Did he and his fellow citizen remember the tall General, General Taddassa Biruu, who Mandela took picture with him still the picture is alive and speak a lot.

Therefore, What is the point, Madella and his country men and women, to give hand to most notorious, tyrannical and human butcher ever existing in Africa, the Meles government?

If the return of humble and genuine help From Taddasaa biru to South Africa is helping the tyrant government of Ethiopia( Meles and his Ganges), then Mandela and his fellow South African are self defeatists. Period.

I think it has mutual benefit. South Africa government also becoming a tribal one (Zulus, where Mr. Zuma came) so Weyane can share some experience how to stay in power for a long time while suppressing the other tribes. The South African polices are also well-known for a corruption. Perhaps, they can also share theirs.

It is regrettable that a country like south africa, which has heroically fought and eradicated the apartheid system from the african soil, signs such a cooperation with a regime that advocates a “bantustan” model of governing.
I expect South Africa will denounce the Bantustanization of Ethiopia in strong terms and remain commited in fighting apartheid anywhere in the world.

This is just about strengthening the Ethiopian military. Whether you are an opposition or government supporter, I think you should agree on having a strong military.

ANC and South Africa have long ago descended into abyss and the current situation is just a manifestation of an incompetent, discredited and heartless policy of a malfunctioning ANC government. ANC has failed the people of South Africa and Zimbabwe and now it is expanding its sphere of bad influence to Ethiopia.

Woyane can also enlist the support of Apartheid experts from South Africa in order to implement a Tigrayan style Apartheid against Oromo and other ethnics in Ethiopia.
