Here is another interesting review of Tesfaye GebreAb’s book, “The Journalists Memoir” (YeGazetegnaw Mastawesha). It is written by Prof. Getatchew Haile who has a lot of positive things to say about the book, as well as the author, perhaps to the surprise of many, and rebukes those who are circulating the forged version of the book. The comments which the professor has given about tesfaye is very recommended . Our defeat is always is un welcoming of the present government officials who worked wih melse .We have to wellcome them if they leave this government policy and join with ethiopian people. I know many officials want to join with full of information but their fear is not welcomed by oppostion and by individuals of ethiopians . Some oppostion propoganda always say not wellcome them and accept them due to this reason most of them staying with melse- berket .I recommend the professor to request the oppostion parties and indviduals to wecome all the people which worked with the present government like tesfaye and others. Really , it is very helpful their joining to our struggle for our freedom ..I personal I would like thank for tesfaye for doing such decession. And let other continue like tesfaye is doing .

Impressive!
Thank you Prof. Getachew. You said it in an expressive language what ever I have to say about the book and the author. So far I am reading it and I am on chapter 16. I would like to pass the same message to all. I myself am willing to pay the amount it is worth. Or I will buy the book whenever I find one for future reference.

Hi Guys,
I’m not that much impressed by this comments. First of all, Prof. Getachew seems to have the key of being Ethiopianness. Btw. I actually praised him for his scientific and historical research works. He did extraordinarly a lot in his field in enlightning us our priceless historical treasures. With out him and his intellect they might never be revealed at all. I thank him very much and I said it proudly. However,my critic is that he doesn’t seem to have the same approach for other Ethiopians as he has for Tesfaye Gebre Ab. Look what happened with Andargachew Tsegie. Andargachew wrote one book “YE AMARAW HIZB KEYET WEDEYET” and served EPRDF not more than 1 and half years. But he was axed, knifed and chopped by all socalled Ethiopians including by Prof. Getachew Haile. The same is happening against Abraha Belay. Tesfaye served TPLF for not less than 8 years and wrote a number of toxic books including this one. paradoxically he is praised. Abraha Belay also served TPLF for some time i don’t know how long. Abraha told us a very important secret of TPLF hate doctrine that Tesfaye didn’t even mention in his latest book but still promoted wisely. In one radio interview Abraha told his audienceis that TPLF has the doctrine exclusivly directed towards Amharas and all that is percieved as Amharas’ and a plan is crafted to be implemented to dismantle and distroy it. For me this is the secret of all secrets. Thank you Abraha for your boldness. What is about Seye? He still keeps quiet or dances around the bush and talks irrelevance. The root doctrine of TPLF is hate doctrine against Amharas.

Mr. Tesfaye’s effort to expose the Woyane’s government proved to many of us what we thought but not able to find witness that really satsfy our observation from distance. I agreed with Prof. Getachew’s suggestion to those who read the pdf on the Internet to contact Mr. Tesfaye and encourage his effort by paying the cover price. Ethiopian Review or anyone, please help us posting Mr. Tesfaye’s address to make the payment for the book.
Thanks

Dear Mr. Elias. You were right in condemning the Woyane government for banning your site and others that are opposing it to reach the masses. But what do you have to say when you are sensoring my comments on Dr. Haile piece? Do you really believe that denying me the right to voice my ideas is the right course of action to promote what you truly believe in? Is this your idea of how you would like to promote democracy in Ethiopia? Obviously, I don’t wish you any luck because you are no better than the Woyane’s you are criticizing.
