Security forces in Ethiopia’s capital Addis Ababa detained former Ethiopian president Dr Negasso Gidada for 4 hours and released him, Ethiopian Review sources reported.
Dr Negasso is currently chairman of the opposition Union for Democracy and Justice (UDJ) party.
UDJ is preparing to hold a protest demonstration in Addis Ababa next Sunday, September 29, 2013.
